She's not that different at the moment, everything seems fine, but her vagina is a little bit different now. She's turning 6 months on the 22nd, she was scheduled to be spayed next week! If she is starting her cycle should I try to move it up? or is it too late now? She hasn't been bleeding yet, just noticed the change in her vagina.

My girl will start to lick more than normal when she is starting to go in and she will get a little tender down there. I don't study my dog's lady bits real closely but I believe her area gets a little puffier than normal when she is getting close also, so if puffiness is the change then you may want to consult with your vet to see if moving up is an option or if she is too close for it to matter. they can spay when she is in heat but it usually costs more so you will want to find out from them what their procedure is when this happens.

I would contact your vet, she may have a uti, 6 months is the extreme for a puppy to go into heat, most are more commonly closer to a full year old. UTI symptoms are similar to heat symptoms.
