1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Hi Doug, I'm one of the older regulars here (and Amy, I don't need any comments from you!)
That is one cute little ball of fur there, do you have any idea what it's going to be when it grows up - white, tan, silver???

Here is a picture of the mothers sister.. the mother looks very similar.

The owner has dozens of them as they are sled dogs. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing to have it in the bloodline or if it matters. They were WONDERful dogs.

Welcome to the forum! There's nothing wrong with getting a puppy from working lines. I think it's ideal because you get a puppy that can do the job it was originally made for! She will likely need a lot more exercise than even the typical Husky though. Keep that in mind and maybe get a good bike so you can run her regularly. Smile My Husky is from working lines and that's what I do with him. He runs alongside and loves it!

Thank you for the suggestions. I am actually very fitness oriented so I can't wait to take runs with her.

Now, why'd you tie that poor little Teddy Bear into the car seat?  You know how it works, first flash impression before reality sinks in.  'bout all I can say about that picture is "cute!"

I think it's great that you're getting a pup from a working line and from someone who obviously does work his dogs.  Now, while we're waiting for Juneau to grow up, do you have links to any of the runs that your breeders dogs have been in??

I'm sure that we don't need to remind you that's it's going to be an unbearably long time before you can actually get her out to run with you.

Haha it was a new collar and she was playing with it. That was on the way back from Pet Quarters where we got her a new bed.

I do not actually know but I will ask.. I'm curious now as well.
