| Hi my name is Emma I live in sunny San Diego, and am the owner of 2 amazing Siberian Huskies. Alucard is 7 months old, I call him Luca for short. He's a big marshmallow, very mellow, easy to train, not stubborn at all. Hardly husky as I like to joke. I got him from a breeder when he was 10 weeks old, and it really has been amazing watching him grow. Everybody tells me he's small but he looks pretty perfect to me! He's currently training for service work, hopefully he'll have what it takes. So far he really enjoys it. Jinx is almost almost 3, she gets called the Queen. I've never met a dog with a bigger sense of entitlement! she's very hyper, and stubborn. She's super picky when it comes to food. I rescued her from a shelter when she was 1 1/2. They told me she was perfectly healthy, just a little underweight. Turns out she had raging pneumonia from untreated kennel cough, and they knew about it, but didn't want to pay for her treatment. She spent 3 days in a hospital and I thought I was going to lose her, luckily she pulled through and is fine now. Jinx after swimming Baby Alucard Looks comfy |

| Good looking pups. I have found that the mass majority of people don't actually know how big huskies are supposed to be. Welcome to the forum! _________________ |

I know! Alucard is almost 40 lbs at 7 months he's actually pretty normal I think. People always tell me how Huskies are the size of GSDs haha |

I only rescued Jinx. I really wanted to rescue again, but I was having a hard time finding one who was suitable. so I went the breeder route for Alucard. |

| Your dogs are beautiful! I think going the route of breeder when you want a dog for service work is the best way to go. Puppies are pretty much an empty canvas and you can teach them exactly what they need to know and prevent bad habits from forming that a shelter or rescue dog might've picked up from a previous owner. Welcome to the forums! |

| Yes exactly, and since I was going with a breed that typically doesn't have the attention span for a service dog or temperament I had to be very very picky. |
