Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| Hi everyone! I would like to take a minute to welcome FOUR new staff members to our ranks As mentioned in other posts, some of our mods and Administrators have had some pretty major life changes and the forum is no long a priority place for us to check in daily. In light of this, the staff has agreed to add to our ranks some dedicated members to help us out. We had a pool of people nominate, apply and weigh in on the discussion. The staff has voted and unanimously agreed to the following additions Myself, Chris, and the illustrious Chad (...YouKnowWho) will still be the Administrators as you see in red. However, we would like to welcome Ashleigh ( @simplify) to our team! This is a huge job, with a lot of forum control. With Chris and I having newborns, we are happy Ashleigh will be here to look through the day-to-day things that need immediate attention. Welcome and Congratulations, Ashleigh! With great power, comes great responsibility. We know you are up to the task! Val, Jenn, Meredith, and Kristina will still be in blue and act as Global Moderators (a term that has been used in action that we are now labeling). They will help the Administrators keep an eye on the whole board. To these ranks we are adding Colleen ( @HuskyLear) and Jenn ( @TwisterII). Thank you both for being such dedicated forum members! We know you will continue to contribute positively to our board and help keep it free of spam! No mischief will be managed with you both on board Last time we rolled out Subject Moderators, which had special permissions to moderate on certain topics. Claudia, Sara and Ceara were our first Subject Moderators. We are now adding Al ( @aljones) to the list! He will be helping us keep a consistent eye on the HOTM competition and help us there when needed. Thank you ALL for your thoughts, nominations and applications. It's never a decision we at IAHT take lightly and please know we read and considered every suggestion that was put forth. Our decision was unanimous and we are SO excited to welcome Ashleigh, Jenn, Colleen and Al to the IAHT Staff! If there are any questions or concerns regarding these changes, please direct them to an Administrator. Thank you for helping us welcome these three exciting new additions and help us show them the respect and appreciation that they deserve! ~Tori Forum Owner & Administrator _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |
