He will leave kitchen and run to my bedroom where i don't want him eating as he'll drop it on the carpet.

most the time he just misses out on snacks.

Is closing the bedroom door an option when you're not in it to avoid him going in there? Or maybe a baby gate to show him it's not an acceptable place to go?

Is Furai new to your home? He may be nervous, particularly if he was around his litter mates or other dogs. He may have gotten used to having to hide to eat, or risk having his food stolen.

Does he have his "own" space anywhere, like a bed or crate, or a penned area? Feeding him in his crate may make him feel more secure and eliminate the need to hide, and would minimize any mess for you.

ok while i was away he got locked in my room,
my brpther had to force the door open breaking the lock.

I took the barrel out left the handles. so pushing it opens it.

not new here, thinks he's in trouble when i merely open the fridge door,
around humans food he bothers everyone but me.

He doesn't seem food aggressive at all.


whenever he does eat., if i say something to him he may freak out and stop eating.
ultra hesitant about eating anything indoors.
