Just curious. For those of you with more than one husky...how many hrs do they spend playing in a day? Geez, Mya and Kody are at it since i get home at 530/545 till midnight! Take breaks here and there, but get right at it within 20min. Not to mention in the morning! It's the cutest thing, but I think they have a playing issue...LOL

Willow would probably play that much, but Dakota likes it for about 20 minutes at a time and then he wants to nap.

Yep, Kody definitely starts it, but Mya continues. Sometimes I'm like "Kody leave Mya alone" and then her paw smacks him and boom they're at it again! She does complain to him at times. Like saying leave me alone, but then gives in and they're at it again. Mya is 5yrs old and Kody 5 months so they're definitely in different stages, but Dakota is 10 and Willow not even one? That's definitely an age difference, but they're so cute together!

You think they'd be sick of each other!! lol _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! | You and me both!!! I was talking to my husband for about a year about getting another and finally i convinced him. Took us a few months to find Kody and a rough few weeks to get Mya used to him, but I love it now! He loves her so much! Cant say that about her yet (but she tolerates him and plays when he wants to). Guess that's good =) |

We have lazy huskies. They have mini bursts of play time, right when we get going in the morning, after walks and at night. I'm not sure what they do all day long but I'm sure they have some fun. Otherwise they are just laying around _________________

I work nights so I come home at around 1am, and they're both pretty chilled out at night so they might play for an hour, then we go to bed around 3am and get up around noon and they don't stop playing until I leave for work at 5pm

Mine is active and playing all day long and he doesn't need another husky to do so either! He plays with his toys and his mom, never a dull moment...sometimes I wish there were more dull moments. _________________

Ugh, I can't get mine to not play when they are together. They will play for hours if I let them. But Siku is a little too rough with Elara, not that she doesn't egg it on, and I have to crate them most of the time. One day we did a little experiment to see if we could get them both sleeping together like in all those cute pics I see people post of their old dog and new puppy laying together. So we took them to the dog park in the morning for about two hours, then let them out together at the house and they stayed playing until it was dark! I knew it wasn't good for Elara to play that long, but, sheesh, I thought they would have stopped eventually. But no, I ended up having to crate them again. I swear there's no "off" button when they are together and I will never get that cute pic of them sleeping together. _________________ -Sara

Haha! Mine have a pause button! I say pause because they settle down for a few minutes and boom right back at it! This goes on till 11pm or until I put Kody in his cage. They can be laying down and the second that I sit down on the couch Mya is back up and harassing me. Not sure what she wants since she's eaten, gotten walked, done her business, and played with Kody for hours. I tell her to lay on the couch next to me and she's like NOPE. That gets a bit frustrating to be honest. After 20-30min of her not leaving me alone she finally gets the point. I've even laid on the floor with her for goodness sake...LOL
