Haha. Mishka doesn't howl. He will talk a little and make lots of grumpy grumbly noises especially in the morning when he first wakes up, but not a lot. Honestly I'm kind of glad. Lol.
Lol, they're so funny when the woo and howl. This is Lycus earlier this summer avoiding and arguing against a bath. He looks so funny without his winter coat lmao!
Eric, the trailing off at the end of the howl is the best! That's my favorite part of their talking.
Ha, Lycus is not pleased about a bath!
Omg mine to!!!! Lol!!

Smoky, our blind husky we rescued over a year ago howls when you get home. He barks when he wants food or outside/inside. Otherwise he's quiet.
Last year we adopted a husky/pyrenees mix, Miska, and she growls and barks...like "roo roo roo".
Then, just a couple of days ago, we adopted a male husky puppy that was found roaming around and he is a vocal little booger! Bark bark bark. If I didn't know any better I'd say he's a mix but he's not.

Awesome!
I've tried many things to get my husky to howl it just doesn't happen.. Wolves, Malamutes, and Husky howling videos does nothing for him. He knows the bark command but doesn't howl. He's not a complete husky yet
Lol love the howling!!! My puppy is starting to discover his voice so the other day he was practicing his howl, so cute!! I love the rooroo as some described. Mine also grunts and grumbles when he is about the sleep and in the morning.. sometimes I think he's a cat!
