Hi Guys!
Milo is home! and he is a little energetic ball of fluff!
Anyways, he'll be 10 weeks old tomorrow and as of around the 5th December we can finally take him out into the big bad world.
We're looking into introduce him into a harness straight away. Is this a good idea?

If not, at what age / size would you reccomend?

Thanks

P.s Will update pics of Milo asap!

Hey Ben congrats on getting him home, can't wait to see pics. I do not use a harness, however, from what has been mentioned on the forum many times, I would not invest too much money on a harness, right now. They grow so fast the first year, you would end up buying a harness almost monthly. Personally I would start out with a leash and get him trained on leash first, especially with all the potty time that is needed for new pups, it would be a major pita to harness him up to do his business. Others on here may have some better suggestions on the harness idea. Again can't wait to see baby Milo.

We used a harness right away because Klaus has been a puller from the start and would choke himself. If you can get away with a collar for a while that might be good to save you money. Otherwise I would buy a simple one right now that he cannot slip out of, nothing too pricey because he definitely will grow out of it! We're on our third harness. I recommend a harness with a clip on the front of the chest, it will give you more control.

Congrats on finally bringing your little guy home Very Happy

I got this little harness at a local pet shop for like $15 and Eli loves it way more then being on a leash. It has a little velcro strap on the top with a clip over it, making it pretty easy to slip on quickly. Renee brings up a very valid point that he will be growing into new ones quickly
