Thanks so much guys! We both are very excited and can’t wait to see her again already haha.. She is definitely bi-eyed, it will be interesting to see her eyes develop! What age is it when they normally get their ‘permanent’ coloured eyes? @Dave – she definitely does look similar to Mylo as a pup – that’s only a good thing too as hes a very handsome boy

Thanks so much guys! It's certainly been a long time coming ( we have been waiting a long time for timing/house arrangements to be right) and it does feel like now we are so close, its making it harder . I am sure it will fly by though .

She is so adorable, love the next to last pic as well as y'all in the car. To help out on the feeding frenzy, haha, it will take time, but if she doesn't know it teach her to sit, then teach her to wait, once she has that, teach her to get it or take it, some command to let her know you are releasing her to eat. Teaching the wait part may be easier by hand feeding, this was how we taught both of our girls. Sofie is 21 weeks old, and still is a spinning fool, but she will sit, and wait until I release her, which does calm her down significantly. Best of luck and can't wait to see more pics!

So we have had Kira for nearly 2 weeks now, everything is going really well. Seems I jumped the gun with her going crazy at dinner time, shes great now - sits and waits for us to give her the OK. She has nailed sit, lay down, shake and wait ( stay). Her toilet training is going really really well, she sits by the door whenever she needs to go and she has been sleeping through the night ( we have been getting up 1-2 times a night to take her to the toilet. Overall, she is settling in really well and we love her to bits. We are working on her nipping/biting at the moment which is her new thing and we are going to start on loose leash walking now shes getting the swing of walking ( at first it was walk 5 meters - stop and sit and take everything in, rinse, repeat haha). It is really funny seeing all the husky traits I have read and researched so much about come out already, just in the short time. She also loves to talk whenever we/someone else comes into the house, if we leave her alone she gives us a telling off - she is hilarious haha. Anway, some more snaps; Her favourite position; At the local park First time at our local beach! Those eyes Me with her on her first walk! Meeting the niece and nephew ( she was so gentle ) Enjoying her frozen carrot - its been hot here in Aus, we have been trying to be creative with all things to cool her down, her favourite is when we freeze a towel and let her lay on it!

Kira update! Everythings been going really well . Puppy school she has been good ( she is the biggst one there ans cts all tough - not so much at the dog beaches/parks where she is more timid !). Still working on the nipping, but I am sure she will get there. Her walking is really random, one minute walking fine with leash and not pulling and by side, then next walk pulling, then a monute later fine again etc etc... Another thing we have to work on, its a tough one though. She is hilarious though, such a funny personaility - very husky-like! She also has a soft toy duck she adores and loves to take on walks with her ha ha.. The other day my fiance pretended to put her duck in the pool - as she was crying - then accidentally dropped her in ... Kira rushed over grabbed it and took it away into the corner and cried for a while !! Anywya, some pics . Kira and I enjoying the beach on Australia Day ( simialr to July 4th overe in USA ) My sister was looking after her one night when she was younger and sent me this pic At a nearby dog cafe, enhoying her meal while we do too . Early morning adventure walks! Tired after a park visit. Enjoying her pool!
