Forum Rules

Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. FUN! I've hooked Koda up to my bike, but we have yet to get another harness for Hailey It's amazing how quickly they take to it!

So not recommended, but I just literally hooked Koda up to my bike (figured at least I had a helmet and brakes) and he just knew what to do! Crazy dogs

We use a Springer attachment on our bike when we go.

This was for bikejoring I meant it wasn't recommended cause I really didn't train him with commands or anything beforehand Not usually recommended

Definitely looks like a blast!
We don't get enough lasting snow immediately in the area to sled. I've done pretty much everything around the house though (snowboard, bike, rollerblades, skateboard). If I could just get Sioux to keep moving and not zone out on the ground.

How do you have them pulling now? The harness's make a huge difference. The furthest we go at once time is 2 miles.

Looks like fun! I haven't gone sledding with Ginger, but I have a scooter bike and tested the waters to see what she would do and she ran next to me. However, now that we've taken her out snowshoeing with us a couple of times, and she's out in front on a lead, maybe she'll get it with the scooter.
I have tried a couple of times to pull a kiddie sled behind her with one of the neighborhood kids, but she's still in 'training' to 'pull' or run out in front.
However, when we went to watch the sled and skijor races, everytime a racer went by, Ginger was ready to go! So maybe we try skijoring with her next?

We tried Skijoring. . . I couldn't do it. But I am not very good at cross country skiing either heeh. My husband can do it though, he enjoys it! I will stick with my kicksled hehe

I just watched your sledding flick. That was a great video! I loved it. We tried urban sledding once but my Kira had to have knee surgery twice, so we gave it up. Gosh your dogs are well behaved.
