| Theresa, I had one made by that Etsy user and they hold up pretty well, but at some point they scratched up to be pretty much illegible.
The pet driver's license on Nitrodog are my favorite. You can fit all the info you need on them and a photo of your pet. They're awesome. |

| I need to find some heavy duty tags. Kiara manages to always scratch hers up to where it's not even legible. I just got the ones on groupon that I paid extra for some service on idtag.com. I guess it alerts all the shelters and rescues when you report you dog missing. |

| Brady, you may want to look into the pet driver's license tags and just get it laminated after you receive it. That's what I did! |

These ones from Etsy would hold up great too. |

| I'll second the Boomerang Tags
http://www.boomerangtags.com/page.php?c=collartags&k=h#CollarTag_N
Appa's is delightful. We went through about 4 different tags before we found one that survived some rough housing with his friend Willow (she actually got it off once... not sure how).
No dangling. No noise. No falling off. No worries. I'm planning on ordering another for his harness. Well, I was planning on it. Until I broke my stupid foot. We won't be hiking any time soon... |

| I'm such a girl, I can't do plain metal tags haha. I just ordered the ones from Etsy I posted. The seller also offers a second set of tags for $12. I just spent $80 on tags.... Oops. Along with $80 of Ruffwear gear.... Double oops. |

| I have one similar to that for Ro! It's a flower instead of a bow tie and it's red/white polka dot.
Unfortunately unless you want to sew the tie/flower on yourself, the velcro usually gets filled with hair and the add on falls off... I lost ours at the pet expo a few months ago. |

| Well, since we got Prince I needed to order a name tag for him and decided to get a new CollarTag from Boomerang Tags for both dogs. I am extremely happy with the tags however not so much with their customer service when I emailed them a question and got a response with attitude AFTER I had placed my order. So I am not impressed with their customer service primarily because of the attitude but they did respond to my question quickly. As far as the product I am very happy, got the smallest (3/8") CollarTag for Prince and the largest (1") for Dakota, both are for adjustable collars. This is the style I ordered: Love them! They look great, haven't come loose, and best of all don't make a sound! Pics... Dakota's Prince's (had to pull his fur out of the way otherwise you can't see his collar) _________________ |

| I think I might invest in one of those. We had something similar for Karli (I don't know where hubby ordered it from) but the pegs that held it to her collar were really thin and have snapped. So I need something else that's stronger lol. |

| The Boomerang CollarTags are pretty thick and very sturdy, there's no way they will snap. Plus they have a lifetime guarantee. We received ours really quickly. They ship via US mail from CA so I expected them to take a week to arrive since I'm all the way on the east coast. I ordered Thursday night, they shipped Friday, and the tags were in my mailbox on Monday. I don't think I'll ever order a different tag in the future! _________________ |

| I really like the boomerang tag! Since my kids are naked at home I don't really have to worry about the jingling except for at the dog park, I got personalized etsy tags. I also use the rubit clip from lupine so I can switch between my millions of collars. Below is a picture of Link's tag..

Thanks! I really liked the way it turned out, plus the etchings seem really thick and sturdy, I feel like it won't fade away. |

| I third the Boomerang ID name tag. When Bodhi outgrows a collar, I just switch it. It has never come off and does not jangle. |

| Stryker can't have dangle tags for some reason the loop that hold them on get straightened out and the tags get lost. I got the rivet tag for the new puppy it actually hammers onto the collar http://www.gundogsupply.com/exidplatwitr.html |

| I really want to go with the boomerang tag, but I can't decide on which size. I'm torn between getting the 5/8 (white pine collar is 9/16) or just upgrading to a 3/4 collar and getting the tags to match.
Opinions? |

| Older thread- but thought I'd share our ID tags. These are brass engraved tags ordered these from a company called Lion Country Supply. Hammer riveted to the collar, not coming off unless we drill them off. From order to door it was maybe 48hrs and at $1.98 per tag I could not be happier- |

This looks great! Where did you order the tag from? |
