| So we are soon approaching Red's first winter with us. Trying to be prepared and wanted to stock up on some pet safe ice melting crystals/pellets for the driveway.
I do see that "Safe Paw" brand seems to be the top choice even though the way it melts is not perfect in negative temperatures. I've read reveiws from users saying that the pellets end up melting in a patchy pattern.
Any recommendations? Pros and Cons of what you currently use or have used in the past? |

| While kitty litter might not melt the ice it sure does make it easier to walk on. That's pretty much all we do lol. |

| I've tried the kitty litter before and it didn't work too well for me. Not sure if it was because I got a cheap 'o store brand one or if it was because my previous landlord let her hill of a driveway freeze over with ice that was 2 inches thick! |

| Mix warm water with dish soap and rubbing alcohol. It will melt it without bothering paws. _________________ |
