| Yes you read that title right, I will be getting a second dog! I always knew I would get a second dog but I thought that would be after moving out of my parents house, but both of my parents seem to have changed their tune and think getting a second dog would be a good idea! so now the hunt is really on, If I go with a breeder I already know I will go with Snow mist kennels since I started a relationship with Kim a few months ago and I believe she is reputable. With that being said I may try to go with a rescue, I am leaning toward puppy since I love puppyhood with Cora but you never know when the right rescue comes up.
Anyways I have some name lists that I thought I would share with you since I am so excited!!
Girls Boys -Rogue -Sirius (From harry potter and this really depends on his face) -Echo - puck -Apollo -Nova -Theo -Draco -Venus -Kiran (My Favorite) -Kane -Ren -

| So excite! Much hype! I'm a nut for names for whatever reason, so I would like some background, please! I love all of your names. If she's reddish brown and white and you go with Rogue I will shed nerd tears. Fair warning. Loki's dad was named Apollo. He was such a charming creature I wanted to take him home with me, lol! He just kept jabbering away about something. Give us updates on your findings! Good luck to you! |

| I figgered it out, Al...the first time I just clicked on rescue's ad for him and then used the url that came up in separate tab. Second time, I was being lazy and posted the link. THen I felt guilty and went back, right clicked on the pic, open image in new tab and then used that url. Voila...image appeared in my post. He's a cute boy is he not? Archer just went home - he was ecstatic to see Josh after 2 weeks. But now...I have no Archer |

Give us updates on your findings! Good luck to you! I am leaning toward a boy who is more shy and submissive since or is sassy and loud. Colours dint mean much to mean but I am a fan of brown eyes. I'm wanting softer names! It is so exciting picking names!! |

| Cora is my sassy loud one and I love her for it but she is also pretty dominate so I think submissive would be better but hey I might end up with two sassy and loud ones! |

| Yay! I don't know if I could wait an entire year though, LOL Names are difficult! All my huskies have had not so common names, now I have two with two of the most common names, hahaha, don't know quite how that happened but maybe I was just too tired of it all. Kohdi's name does fit him though, Mishka's not so much, I wish I woulda gone with my original thought with her Congrats Zoe |

| Thank you Jimmy, I'm having a hard time waiting the whole year but all I think to myself is the stuff that Cora needs to work on in her training and focus on that! What was your original plan for Mishka? |

| That's a good focus, very responsible Mishka was one year (to the day! Haha) from getting Kohdi, not planned but it does help when one already knows "the routine" of things. I had wanted the girl first, thinking that the girl would be more "helpful" with the new pup '(my last two worked out that way and my girl was incredible with helping) but Kohdi really stepped up and was awesome with Mishka. My original names for both of mine were "Luka" (loo-kah) for Kohdi, means "the light" and for Mishka I was going to go with "Annika" (Ahn-nik-kah) I just liked the sound of it, haha |

| You are a responsible person! Sometimes puppy crazy can get the best of anyone lol. It's good to have a plan.
I love kohdi and mishkas names. They seem to suite their personalities I think!
Cora suits her too. It's very pretty and she is a lovely creature.
I have moments of regret picking such a common name for Loki but then I don't lol. It was part of Mike's gamer tag or whatever it's called so I figured it would help them bond a bit. I was thinking either Loki Kili or Goku. I was worried people would think killi was short for killer and Goku just didn't suit him. |

| ^ These nerd names are the things of my dreams.
Plus, if you named him Kili he would have fallen in love with an elf and then died way too young. Loki is for the best... That book was a huge part of my childhood, but Kili dying was heart wrenching.
Zoe, I envy you. Unfortunately, I'm moving into a loft next year, and I can only imagine handling one crazy dog in a small apartment at a time.
Good luck! |

| Lol! Or he would have died protecting his maternal uncle. Either way it is unacceptable!
Dang it! Now I want another one too lol. Always wanted a second but never thought too much about it. Lol! I think the only downside is that sometimes you can feel a little left out when the fur babies would rather play together. /selfish |

| How exciting Zoe. I respect your fortitude in resisting the urge to get #2 quickly. My husband bugged me after Miya was 6 months old, and I kept saying no. Having the older one trained was predominately my reason for saying no. Now that Miya is, I am ready. Names, ugh, I am not good picking out names. A dear friend, who will remain anonymous, suggested Sofie, and that is the only name we both liked. Can't wait to hear the news that you have your second one, good luck!! |

| I think you are right Zoe, Kohdi's name really does fit him, always has, I just don't like that it's so common. Two weeks before I went to pick him up, someone from my neighborhood got two Australian Shephard puppies, and they named one Luka, I couldn't believe it. Mishka had Annika in the running as well as "Ice", Annika was just too close a sounding name to my last husky Anuschka so I needed a different name, Ice just sounded...incomplete, like it needed something with it, so back to the drawing board, haha, Mishka was a name I had tossed around, was soooooo common though, but...Mishka it is Gonna tell you something that *may* surprise you. When you have two, you don't become the outsider, like...it's not going to be like Cora will tune you out in favor of her new brother/sister. They will play with each other a lot, keep each other company, but they each will have and want their alone time too, their one on one time with you, etc. Kohdi was my solo dog for the first time ever in my life, I had never known what it was like just having one dog. He and I were/are super close and even though a second was always in the plan, it wasn't til about a week before I picked up Mishka that it hit me that Kohdi and I would have another little life with us. I even started to wonder if I made the right decision, did I ruin Kohdi's life forever, I even cried! (Which is funny cuz now...I couldn't imagine my life without this little girl, and I don't think Kohdi could either ) it honestly doesn't work out that way though, Kohdi and I are as close as ever, we still have our one on one times, our special little routines we did before Mishka came, stuff like that. You won't lose that with Cora when you get another. Part of your bonding will get stronger just by Cora helping you raise the new one, it's quite amazing really. So many of the things you taught Cora, Cora will teach the new one, in her own way, it's pretty awesome! and you will be so proud! So yeah, getting a second will be good for Cora, but you won't lose that one on one relationship . @ Danielle, thank you! I'm happy with their names, I have no regrets. |

| Good luck on the search! I got the puppy fever last week when a great opportunity came up from Layla's breeder, but sadly I had to rein it in, as a puppy and seven-month-old baby at the same time would drive me bananas. We're looking two years into the future for our second dog. A year for you will go by fast! |

| Puppy fever comes and goes with me. Lol. I would love a second but Mishka is such a special snowflake I don't know if I could handle a second. Good luck though! It can be a fun and frustrating journey. _________________ |

| Good luck Zoe! My girlfriend and I constantly have talks about having a 2nd husky (most probably a female). But we both still live separately with out parents (we are 21yr old college students) and we already have a unique routine and balance with Mylo so adding a 2nd one right now wouldn't make sense. But whenever we have our own place in like 4 years? That's when Mylo will finally have a sister! |
