Hey everyone!

Now that Aurora is almost one, she is starting to pull really hard on walks. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good harness! Thanks!

I have a recreation harness with a belly band from Nordkyn.
https://nordkyn.com/product-category/harnesses/

Bodi could get out of his first harness, so we went to one with the belly band.
Now he can't escape.
I like the fact that he can wear a pack over it.

Thanks for the insight! I will have to look at their website! Aurora is pretty good at slipping her current harness as well! A belly band sounds like a must!

Hi!

A lot of people on here buy from Alpine outfitters they make great harnesses but the wait can take awhile to recieve. They do make ready to go harnesses if your not picky.

I have 2 harnesses from them, the trail and x back. They've held up good so far.

I have the wonder walker harness: http://www.wonderwalkerbodyhalter.com/
This one is super easy and fast to put on.

I also have one by Red Dingo. Pretty fashionable but a real pain to get on as it has two buckles to hassle with.

Red has managed to slip out of both of these harnesses which was a real concern to be. My word of advice to you is that regardless of what harness you decide to choose, make sure that it also has an option for a front attachment for the leash. What I do for a back up in case Red slips her harness is that I use a carabiner and latch it to her collar and the front of her harness. This way, if/when she slips her harness, then it's at least attached to her collar (which is not going anywhere). I have chosen not to use a collar with a plastic snap buckle. I use a nylon martingale collar in conjunction with the snap buckle harness.
