Dog & Bunny: Unlikely friends Empty

We brought home a baby Holland Lop bunny this week and we were very concerned about how Anya would react. We've worked hard with her, but she still has a pretty strong prey drive, particularly with wild rabbits.

Bizarrely, she does not have the reaction with our house bunny Luna. We introduced them very slowly and on high alert, and they get along adorably. SHE LOVES HER. She cuddles her, cleans her, allows the bunny to climb on her. At one point the bunny climbed on Anya's side and made a bed in her tail.

I cannot stand the cuteness.

We will certainly never leave them alone and we always are on guard in case Anya gets too excited...but the adorable-ness is overwhelming.

How sweet! I wonder if the bunny being in the house she automatically considers her part of the pack? I wish I could say the same for my cat!

so beautifully cute, we have a bunny too. Leo likes to lick her nose lol, she doesn't have free rain of the house because she loves to chew the base boards but she dose have a pen to run around inside the house. Joey loves to play with her but since he is very old now mostly just keep an eye on her when Leo come over to her.

Too cute. I love bunnies and would love to have one but Anthony is firmly against that idea.

There is an apartment in our complex that has a bunny that they keep outside on the patio. I feel so bad for the little guy. He has full reign of the patio but I've never seen him not out there, even in hot or cold weather. He's up on a second floor balcony and I feel so sad every time I see him up there hopping around.
