| @Jennifer....Thanks!! She is growing slowly, which is good, I don't mind her being tiny, good for her bones and joints. She is getting strong, no doubt because of Miya, haha. They get along with each other great! @Dave....Thank You!! I took 120 pics yesterday, haha, and it is so hard deleting any. My husband keeps telling me I can not keep so many, but I am like, well hun, it is a series, I have to have them all to tell the story when i am old and gray and forgetful, lol...... So Sofie turned 20 weeks old yesterday. And We had SNOW!!!!! We ended up with 3 or 4 inches and the girls were transformed into snow bunnies, lol. Sofie was a little nervous at first, like how do I go potty on this, haha, but Miya was in heaven, her eyes lit right up at the white sight. We really didn't get any snow last year, so it's been a while. Without further ado here is Miya and Sofie having fun in the snow.... |

| Thanks Amy, although she is super long, she is still quite a bit smaller than Miya was at her age. Miya was pretty much all grown at 20 weeks, just super skinny. But legs and ears, lol, yup, that she is, haha. I love this stage of puppies, they are so much more confident. Miya and Sofie bring out a lot of laughter and smiles for us. Sofie has been a blessing to all of us. I am so glad we got her. |

| Thank you Jane. you wouldn't believe it, Sofie kept going to the door as if she had to potty, nope just wanted to play in the snow. This afternoon we have patches of snow, but most is gone, still cold tho. Now it's mud, haha, and lets play in the mud. |

| Great pictures, Renee! I absolutely love the one where they're both play bowing in front of each other. They look like they had a great time!
And there is no such thing as deleting pictures! Haha, we have to keep them all for future memories. |

| I agree with everything Rocio said, lol. The play bows of course are my favorite pics and you never ever delete pics good or bad I keep every single pic, I realized the value of that when Malukhai passed away. Great pics Renee, I'm so jealous of you all that get snow. As cold as it's been getting here at night/mornings, I'm kinda pissed we don't atleast get snow from it, lol. |

| Thanks Rocio, that is one of my faves too. The deleting pics, haha, I only delete the ones that make no sense, as in running so fast all I get is a blurry partial butt, haha. My pics are crazy large, and they do take up a bunch of space, so I have been putting them on a key to save. I just can not believe how many pics I have taken.
Jimmy, Thank You!!!!! One of these days you will come on here and say OMG I seen a flake, haha. The last year I lived in Florida we had snow flurries for one night, nothing stuck to the ground, but in 18 years of living in Florida it did happen. I always assumed Florida was way warmer than California, so I had just assumed it had snowed there, not just in the mountains. Maybe some day.......Btw, Miya is on her way to converting this gsd into a husky, I seen Sofie butt punch Miya today, lmao. I have only seen huskies do this, so Miya's plan must be working, roflmao....... |

| Haley, they get along fantastically. Getting Sofie was so beneficial for all of us. Miya seems to be very motherly to Sofie, which surprised me a lot. Miya only got ice last year, so the snow was a big YAY to Miya. Thank you Haley!! |

| Thank you Ronin. Sofie has grown, haha, she has picked up on a lot of husky things, and zoomies seem to be the newest thing for her. She watches Miya go into her zoomies, and she will try and keep up, haha, not that easy yet. |

| Haha Jimmy you are too funny. I have always maintained Miya has some gsd in her, why else is she fairly obedient, lol. So to answer you, Miya is becoming more gsd and Sofie is becoming more husky, since all of a sudden Sofie doesn't know sit when we are outside, and I turn and look and there is Miya sitting, lmao. Very funny indeed, since I do say Sofie sit, she just walks away, and there's Miya sitting pretty. I can say Sofie sit numerous times, nope don't know you lady, stranger danger, haha, Miya is still sitting....So you tell me.... They are a laugh riot, and Sofie I guess is in her stubborn phase. |

| Those are great pics! I bet they tore up the snow like there's no tomorrow! If you do catch them playing in the mud, please share some pics of those moments. They're the funniest when you catch them getting all dirty...lol I just laughed at the pic of Miya in the middle of the mud pond. |

| Thank you Amanda!! Miya and the mud pond, lol, she had to break up the ice first, her favorite thing to do, haha. We have the start of a mud pit, we got some rain today, so I imagine Miya Mudd Paw will be back, lmao. Stay tuned.... @Jimmy....haha, I thought you would get a kick out of the Stranger Danger thing, but really that is how she acts....lady i don't know you, you can't tell me to sit, haha |

| Thanks Zoe!! Sofie is so much fun, for me and for Miya. I am so thankful she didn't get the longer coat like some of her siblings, not that I don't love long coats, but I imagine I would have even more fur than I already am expecting, haha. I'll be doing her 6 month pics in another 2 weeks, maybe less, lol.
Amanda, sorry didn't see your question....Sofie is a little timid, I am working on her confidence, Miya is too, haha. Anyway, to answer you, she pushes herself a little every day, so by the time she felt confident to get to the water, it was gone. So no mud puppy yet!! |

| Hi, Renee! I have been encouraged to make a scrapbook for Lutsen and I was viewing some of the members pictures. Love your pups! They are so cute together and look like they have a ton of fun. I have seen other members on here who have GSD's and huskies and it looks like the dynamic is pretty great. Do you feel like they share similar traits at all? |

| Hey Greta and thanks!! Yes I do, in fact as a pup, Sofie is very husky like in behavior, or at least she is, haha. She can be stubborn, independent and has selective hearing. Has energy all day, like Miya, and training has been similar. Sensitive tummies, similar. Both breeds require a job. I have seen gsd's used for pulling, and can mush, maybe not as far as a competition, but they are on par with huskies that are "pets". They have similar play styles, can run just as good, and they also have great agility. It is a nice balance between the two, and I am very pleased with the combo of breeds. They both have huge prey drive. The biggest difference that I see, Sofie prefers to be closer to me, and Miya prefers to be out there in the lead, but always checks in. so as far as breeds, I see the gsd being a tighter, closer, more protective of me, and the husky more aloof(distant), more of a check in and go. Haha. I do have a pretty velcro dog with Miya despite her being a husky, but outside she is the leader of the pack, but wants to make sure she isn't too far from me. Sofie will stop playing and if she is too far from me she comes running back. If any of that makes sense, haha. I have a huge piece of property so they can run and play, but Miya can be on one end away from me, Sofie will not venture that far without me. |

| How fun to have property! That's the dream for us eventually. So far the bigger back yard has served its purpose, Lutsen has a lot of fun back there with us! Miya sounds like a true husky. So far Lutsen is like a teenage boy...he wants to be on his own but then once he sees us pretending to not pay attention its like "love me love me!" How is it having two girl dogs? Our friends have two girl labs and they have said that diva fights can ensue sometimes! But i'm sure that all depends on the dog. So far I have only seen one dog in particular get territorial with Lutsen and it was a male. |
