Ok not sure this is a new topic but on the subject of wolf huskies, is it illegal for a potential buyer to go to the kennel to see the conditions. Or is it just some BS a puppy mill would say. They told me they could meet me somewhere but I couldn't go to their kennels because they would lose their insurance. So I am thinking its a puppy mill and don't want me to know. So any help on this would greatly be appreciated.

It is not illegal to allow people to visit your kennel, in fact most welcome it. This is a huge red flag- don't walk, RUN.

Are you talking a straight up husky kennel? Or are you talking a husky/wolf dog kennel? I do know that we have a few members here who know pretty much the quality husky breeders in the US and some of the Canadians too. Too me it doesn't sound right, but I am not as educated in that department. To me it does sound like a miller or a byb(back yard breeder), and do not want you to see the dogs living conditions. Also, I wouldn't think insurance would have anything to do with it, I don't know though. The only exception would be if pups were under 2 weeks old, and worry that you may bring in something to make pups sick, but still it sounds strange to me. And one of the members I was mentioning responded before me, lol, yes listen to huskymom, she knows her stuff.....
