| He came into my life almost two years ago. He was so cute and small....it was my dream, my childhood dream. Almost all my childhood i wanted to have a dog, but parents were against it. So everytime I told them I wanted a dog, they bought a parrot or a hamster. At that time, in the middle of 90s, Staffordshire Terriers were popular in Russia, but I didn't like them. When I was 12 years old I saw Husky for the first time in my life. He was perfect: blue eyes, black and white cout, for me it was something special and unusual. I decided that one day I would buy Husky. These dogs are the love of my life.

| My two currents are rescued adults, but the last puppy I got was chosen much like you chose yours. He chose me. He was a brute and wouldn't leave me alone so we took him figuring he would be better to stick with us. He ended up being the best dog we ever had. _________________ |

| Welcome to the forum. Ralf is a very handsome guy. We picked Miya because she was the only light colored pup out of her litter, we figured she was unique. That's awesome that he picked you. |

| That sounds like a wonderful memory! It is hard to resist puppy snuggles lol.
I picked loki. My mom saw an add in the paper and took me to go look at him. It was weird because ever since I moved out of my parents house something was missing. I realized that it was because I was lonely lol. My parents dog had always been right beside me all the time and it just felt wrong cooking dinner and doing laundry without something hovering nearby.
It all worked out lol. |

| same here, something was missing in my life and it just seemed odd. had always wanted a husky for a long time and deiced that i would do research and keep an eye out and find a good breeder. I searched for 10 years and researched and learned as much as i could. about 4 years after we bought are home, i eventually i found a breeder and when i saw his picture; I'm not sure how to even describe it, but i felt a strong connection to him. that he was the one, the one i had been searching for. so far I'm glad i have him, he is the best big dog i have ever had although he is the only big dog I've had lol.

| Great stories. Today I want to tell you about Ralf's first winter.... Ralf saw snow when he was 2 months. It was cold November and the temperature was 10 degrees below zero. It was about 19 o'clock and I just came home. I took my little boy and we came out. It snowed and everything was covered with it. Ralf was shocked. He saw snow for the first time. He was out for the first time. He could see men, women, other dogs and cars. New sounds, new smell. He couldn't understood what it was. It was new life, life outside of his home. He was afraid but at the same time he wanted to explore a street. Soon he liked snow and cold, he liked meeting new dogs and people. Some weeks after that he found new friends: two mongrels, one Husky, one Malamut and his best friend Shiba Inu (unfortunatelly Shiba Inu, his name is Kabby, and Ralf don't like each other now). At the age of 4 months we went for a walk to the Botanical garden. It's not far from our house. It was a great day so I want to show you some pictures of that great day: And now I have some questions. Have your dogs ever seen snow? Where do you prefer spend time with your dogs? See you |

| Leo has not seen snow, but i'm hopping to take him one day to be in the snow and play. maybe this year we can make a trip up to see some snow with the human kids and fur-kids. we usually lounge around the house after a long walk and some play in between unless its cold enough to go for a bike ride. my favorite is when we go on road trips with my brother and Leo loves to be in the back seat with me with his head out the window. |

| What great pictures! Bourbon loves all weather. He sunbathes in the summer and chills in his kiddie pool, then does like his fall and spring to hang outside all day long. Of course we are suppose to have winter now but it has been unusually warm and we have not had any snow yet this year. But every winter we get snow and he loves it. He especially loves to make a little snow pile and nap on it. He gets really excited when there is actually snow falling too! I wonder if we will get snow this year. |

| Nice pics - I love those sleds! Looks like a lot of fun. Weather here is whacked - we are heading for record smashing warmth in the next few days We have season tickets for skiing and the weather is so warm, they can't even make snow Once the snow comes, Ami is almost impossible to get in the house - he likes to lie down on top of the mound from snowblowing and look out over the fields to the east. And when Archer is here, it is one long romp from daybreak to well into the evening with only short breaks for mealtime and a bone. |

| Hohoho, I haven't been here for ages. I have got some news. Ralf was thrird in bikejoring in May. And I found a dog. Yes, it's Husky. Her new name is Chloe. I tried to find her owner but it was unsuccessful. It's terrible that in Russia there are a lot of lost Husky. Nobody looks for them, nobody wants them. So it's Chloe |
