I pick my puppy up in 2 days!! I am so excited I feel like I am going to explode. I get him the day after tomorrow.

I didn't sleep at all the night before picking up each of mine, then the 7-9 hour drive. Don't do what I did, hahaha, get some sleep!!!

I had a bit of trouble sleeping on MONDAY night because I was so excited, I don't know how I will deal with sleeping tomorrow night. I am planning on doing an early morning dog park/walk with my current 2 dogs and a full day of work, so hopefully I will be tired enough to KO. I hope I can get sleep in these next few months!! I plan on crate training at night with the crate on my bed so the puppy's face is right near mine. Hopefully this will help with crying.

I can't wait to see which puppies are still available for me to choose from! I asked the breeder since the first pick picked theirs up yesterday, but I haven't heard back yet. The suspense is killing me, but I have a feeling I will be getting the red male.

I was wrong!! Jimmy, I got my first pick bi eyed male. The other couple took the red male. I am so happy and excited. I now have to think of names for him. I kind of like Ruger. He's getting his bath today and I pick him up tomorrow.

We're home and he is a gem! No whining and no sickness in the long 9 hour car ride (split into two days). He has had two #2 accidents inside but zero #1s. Those were all outside. He slept through the night except for a quick pee break at 3 am. He is just so sweet and I am in love. My breeder provided me with all of the OFA, CERF documentations, pedigree from both sides of the family a spay/neuter sales contract and a list of the sire and dams awards from dog shows. His mother is an Int'l CH and both parents are stunning with great temperaments. I am so happy with my new boy. He is a love.

Ruger is gorgeous! I love his markings. Congratulations!!! I thought of you yesterday, glad everything went smoothly.

He is so cute! The marks around his eyes look like a picture frame! He looks like such a happy little dude too.

Thanks you guys! We went to Petsmart today and everyone wanted to say hi to him. I kept him in a cart since he has only had one round of shots and I carried him to and from the car. He was so good in the cart and didn't try to jump out even once. He was very calm too and let everyone pet him. He is a calm and sweet tempered boy. I love him SO much already. It's amazing how fast one can fall in love. He feels like he's been a part of my family for a year yet it has only been a few days. He loves his new baby pools I got him. I filled them up with cool hoes water and ice and he just splashes around outside enjoying himself. My current dogs are doing ok with him. My female and him get along well, but my other male dog keeps growling at him. Any recommendations to stop that? Thank you in advance!

What is the age of your male that keeps growling at Ruger? If he's an older dog, it could just be he's keeping a "bubble" of space around him for his own "protection", in any event, I do think with some time, they will all live with each other in perfect harmony.

Thank you! I posted an album in scrapbooks. Him and his puppy breath make me never want to leave his side. I don't know how I am supposed to work for 6 hours tomorrow. At least I get to come home to him for lunch.

The other male dog will be 4 this November. He is just intimidated by Ruger at this point. I do think they will eventually be friends, but if Ruger gets in his personal space he growls. Ruger is just curious and keeps going up to him because of his reactions. I keep having to correct Oliver with a deep no or ah!
