Leo did steel 2 of his presents out from under the tree this year .

we got some fog




out walking after the rain, there was some water still at the bottom of the park.


he insisted on taking advantage of the nice weather and lounged out in the yard by the door.


then we went out for a short bike ride.












we heard some rustling of presents over by the tree. then he turned around   .


then he took one and...




he opened it

he got another one but i missed it this time. i only saw the wrapping paper on the floor

on the look out for grandma.

then we went out to the dog park.




then we took a short hike on the levee.










finally got his new raincoat.






out for a quick walk before we open up presents.

then he started looking for presents under the tree

he had so much fun opening up all the presents.

we found a small park wail out by the new houses they built by the school.


we got some frost it stuck around for a few hours some one was very happy, he walked in all the frost he could find   .


we took a nice walk up on the levee.




he had so much fun walking up there.




5 years and 8 months old.

enjoying the   before the rain.


and one more day of fog.


we got some rain, some one wasn't to happy about the new raincoat, but was more happy that we would finally walk in the rain again.






the rain cleared up for a bit.


and we found some puddles at the bottom of the park.


we went down for a closer look but not to close.


then we went to the hardware store to find a new bug light for the front porch.


took him out to the garden area, and we found a pink blueberries. he seem excited to see all the plants. i think he wants to help with the garden now but its still to cold to start.




gopher madness is back, found him remodeling the backyard   ...


i think i need to replace the batteries to are gopher repelling devices.

out for a frosty morning walk

5 years and 9 months

beautiful sunrise this morning.




lounging in his hammock, now that its starting to get warmer.


we got some crazy winds the day before.


he was looking for more fallen branches.

finally felt well enough to clean out his sandbox for him he was so excited.

then we decided to walk up on the levee for a bit.








the water is very low you can see the rock that are normally covered with water.




he had so much fun.

and then he found himself a stick


then a trip to the hardware store for some potting mix for the roses.

he had so much fun hike on the levee.

we found some flowering trees.

it was fianly warm enough to have the front door open .

we started cleaning up the garden.








5 years and 10 months

beautiful sunrise.




out on the big side since it was empty.




snacking on some grass in the front yard.

he likes to eat his fish skin outside in the grass  


hanging out with his little friends. A few days later we had to shelter in place.

got him to go threw the fallen branch so he could get unstuck.


we got a mini park lake, form some off and on rain.

we got some sun and started doing some cleaning in the garden.

out for an early morning walk, keep our distance from his doggie friends.


then we got some rain.


our flours in the front yard, we finally have a poppy plant . i just hope the gopher doesn't get them this year.

then we worked on the garden before we got some more rain.









got in some playtime or at least i tried he just wanted to lay in the shade

then it was time for a nap

then it was time to get dry.

Thanks, Leo is not liking staying at home and not seeing his little friends.i think he's gonna be the first to snap. i think we'll probably take him on car ride every so often, so can at least feel the wind in his fluff.

but then he decided to lay in the hole  




we used an old rain barrel to make leaved boxes to plant some root veggies and he wanted to check them out.

we had to wait for the dirt to dry out a bit but Leo wanted to go to the garden anyway.





we left the grass longer then normal and Leo had an Easter egg hunt.

tiring him out before his bath(its been so long i don't think he remember what that is   )


then he did really good using the new dryer for the fist time.


about 45 min to an hour later he was just about dry. then it was a bit to hot to keep drying him so he air dried the rest of the way. the best part was no hot spots this time .


nice and squeaky clean and shinny again (which won't last long )
