he was so excited to go out walking on the levee trail.
its so beautiful up there with all the green bushes and trees.
he was so happy, he made it to the railroad tracks for the first time.
he was also enjoying his filled sandbox with some nice fresh dirt.
he was so happy to go for his morning car ride to drop off my nephew at school.
last week we took him to get his shots updated and recheck for his growing pains. which he no longer has, but for some reason he had pain some where. the vet recommended we go see a specialist. so we went on Thursday to see a join and muscle specailist, and they checked him out and told us that he has a iliopsoas Muscle and semitendious strain. he is on 3 meds to get his muscles to relax and only 5 minutes walk for the next 2 weeks. we also need to get a ct scan to make sure nothing else wrong in his back.
we stop at a dog park in pleasanton for a pottie break on our way home.
this is Leo on his meds in the morning, he was very sleepy.
we haven't been doing to much also the weather is hot , which his helping to keep him form being to crazy. which is nice, not sure which one of us is going to crack first me or him .

Too cool, that is a great pic. We have a similar bridge here, I don't know the history of it though and it's not used anymore, maybe a train used to run thruout there back in the day or something.
thanks, he looks so cute with the star bandana. i haven't gotten the ct scan yet i wanted to make sure i readjusted he eating times back to normal. i'm going to try to schedule it in the next week or two. i really hope they don't find any thing ether.
yeah, i would give him the meds (anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxant and pain meds) and he would sometimes fight the sleep . he is now off the meds, and we still have to keep a close eye for any limping and short five minute walks. then i have to check in on Monday to see what the vet thinks about increasing his active. he is so happy he was doing zoomies again in the backyard .

we are still wait for a call back from the vet. they have to check the schedule to see if they any late drop off available snice we live almost 2 hours away.
he was buried his cow ear in the dirt pile .
he was so happy playing in the dirt .
he had some really muddy feets, we rinsed them off wail he passed by .
we ran some errands and stop off at hardware store for some bigger pot for the plants.
then he check out the pot to see if we got him anything; he was looking for the yogurt .
we also vacuumed out both of the cars and Leo was helping .
and i washed the set cover back in and he wanted to go for a car ride .
found him standing in the shade we are making progress on the leveling and clearing out the grass and weeds.
Leo was supervising wail we worked on the yard some more before the wind picked up.
he was very excited to have no rocks on the ground and did some zoomies...
he was flying by...
then he turned around to go the other way.

Really cute pictures, Ronin. Looks like Leo is doing really good too! Yay!
thanks, he defiantly feels much better but I'm still keeping our walk short so he doesn't over do it .
i also noticed that he lost interest in his food, and started to get a orange color on his mouth, like he had grass pollen on his face. i also noticed that some of the fur on his face was starting to split apart which i thought was odd, and decided to change his food. i first got 2 sample bags of acana but i didn't think the turmeric would affect him since it was one of the last ingredient in the food. he is very turmeric sensitive he can usually hand about 1/8-1/4 tsp of turmeric be for it to much for him. so we when with orijen one that had no chicken, so far his is doing really well on it.

he was not happy about us removing the back seat in the van, since we had to the recycling center.
his first trip to the park in almost a month .
he was feeling very good this morning and did some zoomies...
then back the other way wooohoo!!
later in the week he played some fetch,
well a few short tosses anyway.
hanging out on his hammock in the backyard.
we heard some noises coming from the bamboo and Leo when to investigate .
we are making progress on the yard slowly but were getting there.
he was testing out the leveled yard free of weeds and rocks.
tasting some one "crunches" he also help open the box by pawing at it and sticking his nose into it .
Leo and his Sushi toy not sure why but that one is one of his favorites.
our September 2 Remember walk.

He looks like he is doing much better. And settling into the yard construction better than mine would. No weeds! They would think it was the end of the world.

his last run in the yard before we put seeds down.
we also did on more check for levelness.
but Leo and my brother had other ideas bout the gopher chewing on the bamboo . so after Leo found the hole and we flooded it and leveled it again.
after that fiasco he got a bath .
an off we went to buy some grass seeds for the yard.
