Gypsy started her 'show career' in Enumclaw WA at the Combined Specialties shows which offered puppy 'fun' matches!  She is going to be so much fun!

She's growing like a weed. She has a lot to hold up to with Keegan doing so well in the ring, but it looks like she has a good start.

She's getting there! If we could find some more Beginner Puppy or Sanctioned B matches before our National that would be awesome practice for her!

Gypsey is a beautiful young lady I like how she leans into you in the second picture. Also looks like she has some nice heft to her front legs, too. I wish you the best of luck with her.

Awww, my baby girl is growing up! Gypsy won Best Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes under Working Dog Judge Louise Cooke (of Shaytaan Siberians). A moment we could not be more proud of!

Thanks! I count myself pretty lucky to have gotten into these dogs Gypsy is developing into exactly what I am looking for in my Siberians, but I think that's going to make her a hard sell in the show ring. At least under non-working and non-breeder judges.

Congratulations! Gypsy I have always loved since I first saw her, she is just beautiful.

That she's going to be a hard sell in the show ring? She's not like what's being shown currently. Our bitches up here are heavy coated, short on leg, and almost square built. Which, IMO, is not correct for what should be a working breed. We can see that in what endurance racers are breeding. A working dog judge or even a breeder judge should be (and did) see her merit. Your typical all breed judge is just going to see a dog who's different and not know what to do with it, so dump it.

That's what I thought you meant Lani. I know someone who shows her husky and being a bit less "fluffy" than the other huskies there seems to count against her, enough that it is discouraging her from showing.

A lot of things go into consideration. Gypsy, other than being not as heavily coated, is correct. Her movement is easy and effortless. A nice length of leg, which far too many lack, and about 15% longer than she is tall. We can't stop showing because it's harder, judges need to see different shouldn't be scary. Especially if it is correct..we know she's a bitch with merit, having judges of the standing she's shown and been recognized under we know we're on the right track.
