| The 3 dogs were running outside a bit after the rain stopped and Tsunami slipped & fell. He was limping a bit with the right back leg/hip, but continued running so I let him go potty and then took them inside & crated them so they can calm down to be fed dinner. Half an hour later I took Tsunami out of his crate Nd put him on the bed next to his bowl kibble and he started peeing...I grabbed him and run outside thinking this was a potty training fail, but whole time I was running outside he was screaming/crying like mad as if he's in pain! Put him down to pee and he peed blood coloured urine! Phoned the vet and rushed him in immediately! The vet examined him and said he might have bruised something after about 15 minutes with him. He gave him some pain & anti-inflammatory as well as antibiotics. He said an ultrasound is not necessary since his gums and eyes were 'right'. I have to keep an eye on him and phone the vet in the morning... But he scared the crap out of me!! I hope whatever it is, is gone by the morning and its not serious! |

| Yeah, but it was still a bit wet outside from the rain, so I should've rather kept him indoors! He slid on mud and fell hard on the concrete :-( Hopefully the vet is right and it's nothing serious...but I'm still worried about him!

| Sorry, been a bit hectic to entertain Tsunami today, having orders from the vet to keep him still! His pee is normal again today and his leg/hip is obviously still sore, but he walks a bit better, still limping. Just spoke to the vet and he wants to see him again for a checkup before the weekend. But so far he is looking ok thankfully! I just have a hard time with Smokey, she's not allowed to play with him for 10 days at least...and you guys know a Husky, she wants to play!!! |
