Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

AKA...whose on first?

It's approaching dinner time.  The door bell rings.  I'm not exactly decent and peer around the doorway...

It's my son's wife's ex-boyfriend confused   I run to the bedroom and get a sweatshirt.  Husband answers the door. One big, red fluffy butt is wooing and jumping and twirling in circles.  Ditto the sleek little black and white one.

Ex-boyfriend's phone is dead.  He doesn't know whether to bring Ira to their house or Jess's parents across the lake.  And he doesn't know Jess's phone number without his phone.  So we call...no answer.  Ira will be left here but we will need a car seat...let the games begin bounce

Open up the SUV.  Take out the little red-haired boy.  Remove the car seat, go around to get the little boy's bag.  Oops left the other door open and the big red fluffy one is in the back seat.  Enter me...oops, Ami's in the front seat.  Second, older child is laughing...open up front door, reach in, Ami hops in back seat.  Go to back seat, little black and white sleek one jumps in front seat.  Now, 2 children are laughing uncontrollably and 2 adults are doing a mad scramble.  Reach in back seat to get big red fluffy one who jumps in cargo bay, open up cargo bay, black one jumps into cargo bay, red one back in front seat....and on.  And on.  And on.

All is quiet now.  The little boy has downed one little yellow cake with whipped cream, 2 cheese sticks, 1 glass of milk and 3 chocolate mint girl scout cookie analogues.  THe black and white one is barking at the little dog across the street, the red one is sacked out in front of the front door.

Peace reigns again.

Amy, this is hilarious! I can just picture the chaos! This was worse than about a month ago, when Loki jumped into the back of the FedEx's guys truck. I was trying to get Loki out of the truck and Banner out from underneath. I would get Loki out of the truck and by the time I would grab Banner, Loki would be back in it. At least the FedEx guy thought it was hilarious and coaxed Banner out with the milkbones he keeps in his shirt pocket.
