| Beautiful lily - well worth the wait!
That was a large zucchin! Mine never got over 6-8 Inches...I was too eager to eat them. Did make zucchini fritters a couple of times. Very tasty. |

Ditto - with the current heat wave out here and the lack of rain past 2 weeks, mine have succumbed to powdery mildew...and, without me going up to the garden every morning (that's where my bees are) my corn has turned crispy brown Most of the summer it was monsoon season so I didn't realize we entered a dry spell until too late. |

| Jenn, your yard looks awesome! Love the lily blooms too, and that bench looks cool! Nice relaxing area to sit and chill. Your one zucchini is more than I got from my garden this year, it was a bust, something keeps gnawing on my tomatoes (not Mishka) not one cucumber grew, the pumpkin plant got a mildew so instead of deal with it I just pulled it all out, only thing left are my onions and I guess I should pull one up to see if it actually grew. Gotta plan better for next year, the tomatoes being eaten pisses me off though! I had tons of tomatoes, still do, but they keep getting eaten! |
