Well, Ichigo and Loki were really good at respecting the fence . . . until my neighbor had 7 border collies at her house and a few who started digging on the other side. Ichigo finished it today and had his head in the neighbor's yard when I found him. She apologized her visitors started the hole. Now I need to put chicken wire or something so I don't have to watch them every minute they are outside. Should be a busy weekend.

Have you looked at "training with an invisible fence." Though, chicken wire is probable quicker, and maybe cheaper. Damn dogs keep us hopping, don't they

We have wired our fence a hole at a time it seems. It is a chore to do but is pretty effective. _________________

A hole at a time seems much more workable than the whole thing all at once. And a lot cheaper. I wonder if my 2 would stay contained with 7 border collies in play nex door?

Yes, two border collies, no issue. Seven with a couple who were trying to get into my yard, not so much. It is only like 80ft span. Right not I put concrete blocks in the areas that were most problematic. As it my property is on north side of privacy, I think it is opportunity to remove grass a few feet and put in stones since the grass doesn't grow well in that spot. We will see. Should be a busy weekend, but worth it to keep the boys in the yard.
