Well this morning i found USPS did not tell me that my harness arrived ARG. However, I just put it on Lucifer and it fits perfectly, the padding is so wonderful and the belly band works nicely. I love this harness and We'll be biking later but so far I love it

Just out of curiosity, when did you order it? I ordered a couple about a week and a half ago, but I also know it's the peak season. Glad you like it!

Darren ordered an Alpine Outfitters Urban Trail harness about two months ago for Layla and we have yet to receive an update on it. He's already contacted them once about it and they gave him a vague, "We'll get it to you when it's ready." I've ordered from them myself many times and never had an issue, but then again I don't usually order in peak season.

On another note, we already have a custom X-back for Layla from Alpine that we (and she) love. I love you

A couple of years ago it was taking them like 3-4+ months during the peak, I hope things are running better this year.

When I used Alpine it took 4-5 months in the off season. It was in 2011 though. Their customer service was great, so I continued to use them. They really are great harnesses!! I loved maggie's x-back. If anyone knows maggie personally, her body type isn't a typical malamute. I can't use x-backs. I no longer use alpine. I however, order musher's secret from them!

I ordered my custom x back in 2008 during their peak/busy season and it only took 2 weeks to get mine. This was a time when many complained of having to wait months for theirs, was I just lucky? I've always found customer service to be great whether it was in 2008 up to 2014. I emailed them a question just this past November and they gave me the info I requested within 2 days (granted I emailed on a weekend night).

Im curious, would an x back harness work for Nala because she is horrible at pulling when i walk her, is this harness something that would help with that?

An x-back is design for pulling so I wouldn't go for one with that in mind.

The easy walk harness or walk your dog with love harness would probably be better for walking and not pulling.

Rachel - I'll go out on a limb. A prong collar has done wonders for Ami and Archer. I've written a bit about them if you want to search (Wayne is coming back today and I want to get some bread made and vacuum and dust so I'm short on time...want to make it worth that man's while to come home bounce )

Haha, an X Back would probably be the worse walking tool of all...unless you want to sit in a Little Red Wagon and hang on for dear life.
