2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Do Not Give a New Chew Treat for the first time, at 9:30 at Night.

Woke up this morning to 3 puddles of foamy, mostly clear liquid vomit in the laundry room and 5 puddles of liquid poo all over the kitchen floor.

Remember I said I have random width plank floors with expanded joints/cracks between the boards...

Thanks, Jeff.

Lost more than an hour, however - Dear DIL decided she did not want to pick up my son at the airport last night, she was out with friends, so Wayne went down. And the plane was delayed, didn't get in until 11:45. And then she has the gall to call my son to come help her because she got her car stuck in her friends driveway...

And to make the morning more glorious, the ice damn on the sunroom roof, despite the heat tape, is now leaking in through the window.

I hate being an adult.

It's so expensive.

Hopefully the next stage of my life makes that better though Smile

Looks like the poor culprit was Archer. Poor baby. He did not want to go into the kitchen... laid his ears back, slink down, tail between his legs. Looking absolutely miserable. When he want in, he initially avoided all the areas that were hit.. then he looked surprised and went sniffing around as in "where did it go?"

So he has been on limited rations, absolutely no people food. And he is acting starved!

Funny thing is, Ami would not even touch this chew - good n' fit skin and coat chews.

Another good reason for a crate Razz

I think Archer is better - he went home Sunday night.

But...the plot thickens. Ami's appetite has been lousy the last couple of days. And this morning, I looked out and he was nibbling on the holly leaves by the front porch. I read up on holly and dogs eating it and came up with "diarrhea, vomiting...inappetence (yup, that was the word, never heard it put that way before.)

I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that the holly looked like it had been nibbled and looked for deer tracks but couldn't find any. Never considered that the dogs might be nibbling it...those leaves are pokey!

But, it's confusing with Ami - on our walk yesterday, he pooped...a big ole poop. But it was all solid and formed...but with a significant amount of mucous. So now it's just a wait and see kind of thing. I may revoke his free-range priviledges to see if he has been eating rabbits or voles or birds or something and to give his tummy a break from holly leaves.
