Anybody use one of these since they introduced it? I'm just curious about the utility vs. the Webmaster. Considering it for our (hopefully) next fur butt or getting one for Bode (not that he needs more gear). We don't typically use the Webmaster for everyday casual walks, we use a Lupine step in. The Webmaster and Pack is usually reserved for "working" situations (hiking, etc...). Thinking about the Front Range to replace the Lupine for everyday usage.

I was thinking about getting the seatbelt function one for each dog! I think they could come in useful.

The surface area is VERY small. Looks kinda awkward on a Husky, in my opinion.

Very well made though.

In advertising and such it definitely seems to be featured more on small dogs.

Sara, I was looking at it last night, at backcountry dot com, they have pics of it on dogs, one was a large lab another a gsd. It actually looked good on the bigger dogs and not so good on the smaller ones. Bummer, yesterday they had a 20% off deal. Take a look though, so you have a good visual on bigger dogs.

I just looked at this harness - and it has the same chest configuration that I don't like about Ami's kurgo we got for the car. It just seems to be too wide and the outer edges rub on the front of his shoulders (whatever that part is in a dog )a bit when he walks.

The thing I like best about the kurgo harness (which is primarily used to keep him contained while traveling, a crate in the back seat just doesn't cut it for a 24" 63 pound dog ) is the buckles - "nesting climber's buckles" whatever that means. What it means for me though is it goes over his head, and I buckle both sides so no step in. With Ami's thick wooly coat, I'm also looking for a harness that is basically straps, not "blanket-like" for cooling purposes. I like the look of the alpine outitters urban trail for my purposes but I want buckles on both side, not one and I want a handle on the top. I want to make one but time being what it is, maybe I can get Alpine outfiters to add an extra buckle there. Who knows, not a top priority for me at the moment.

Ashleigh - that's EXACTLY the problem I have with Ami's kurgo - so I don't really walk with it, just use it for a sort of a seat belt in the car. Also, despite how much I like the convenience of these buckles, on large dogs, they did not hold up well in crash testing

I have one, I love it. Yes they are small compared to many recreation style harnesses but the fit for Orion is phenomenal. He is very comfy in it, it's easy to put on and take off and adjusts brilliantly. It's very strong and I find it perfect for events where we are in public or out doing a trail walk where I prefer him off a collar. Being quite small and relatively thin it is very flexible so moves well with him and sits far enough back behind the armpits that there is no hint of chafing etc. I've already ordered another for my stash of must haves for a 2nd pup planned this year
