Back in November I came across this gorgeous red husky at our local shelter - I immediately applied for him & we got him on December 6th, 2014. We were told he was 6-8 months old but after my vet checked him out & looked at his teeth, we figure he is actually around 14 months old! Here are a few photos from when we got him! Smile

He is a gorgeous fellow! The vet figured Ami was about 12-14 mos when we got him - what a ride the past year has been. Much calmer now, don't know if it's he's over 2 now or the play with Archer...suspect it's the latter.

I love his eyes - almost amber.

I didn't quite believe the Redhead craziness because Bode is such a good boy, but get him together with other redheads and it's contagious. Him and Kim's Diablo ganged up on a big 100lb husky at the meet on Sunday. Poor Yeti is so sweet and these two crazy redheads were just picking on him!

How is Rowan adjusting, Olivia?

So far he is doing wonderful! he's not a huge fan of his crate but that's getting much better now. He loves his sister! He actually has calmed her down quite a bit which has been lovely! Smile

He definitely has some attitude for sure!

A snow day in Shreveport confused

Your pictures are beautiful - I like the lighting.

Rowan looks really fluffy - sort of like Ami did when we first adopted him. But, looks like no feathers so maybe your grooming will be easier...he really is a beautiful boy! So is your girl, Willow.

Haha, our thoughts as well. We're expecting "snow" again on wednesday too! It should be an interesting week.

His grooming is much different than my Willow's. He blows his coat in chunks & is mid-coat-blowing currently. I tried to make sure you couldn't tell in the pics though! hahaha.

Yeh, Shreveport is so far north that it's almost in Yankee territory so the occasional snow is to be expected. (( can't shoot me Olivia, I;m on the opposite side of Texas from ya! ))

Those "snow"pictures are gorgeous, they look like the very old sepia images from the early 1900's ... and I definitely agree you have one handsome rebel there!

hahahahaha. We're typically referred to being part of east texas rather than Louisiana most of the time!
