| A foster failure that is! I mentioned it in the hijack earlier, but figured I'd finally post some pictures of Butthead Denali. So, without further adieu, here goes: Wishing for more snow today First time out with the new x-backs Denali's first snow Denali the snuggle-butt _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | He's gorgeous! It's so nice to see that he's going to be somewhere with someone who knows about Huskies! Also can I ask how you like the xback harnesses? do you have them attached to a skijoring belt? |

- Nice!
Are you on skates? Yep, this dog is an absolute natural In a harness. He's still very young to be pulling and running so I'm really limiting his harness time and watching very carefully. I'm working under the guidance of my vet too. He's thriving with the work though - JAM wrote:

I LOVE these harnesses. They're the Alpine Outfitters ones, and I do use a Nordkyn musher's belt. I tell you that belt is the best $50 I've spent in a while, it's great for running, hiking, and joring. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Yay, no better failure than a foster failure! He looks like he fits right into the family. I love his sweet face. Looks like he's nice and compact, too, and has a pretty nice running body. Wishing you lots of companionship and fun with your "failure." |

| All the boys are buttheads, but they are worth every moment of buttheadedness (is that a word?). They are so snuggly compared to the aloof girls. I'm glad he has a happy, wonderful home.
How old is he, Meredith? |

| I'd say buttheadedness is absolutely a word, and he'll be 9 months next week.
Thanks, everyone! He really is a good fit and is a great addition to our pack. Now if only I could convince Aaron to let me get an entire team... _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
