We finally got some Lake Effect snow here. It's been hit & miss this year, and the ground was bare on Thursday. We ended up with 17" from about 1pm Friday to early Saturday morning when these were taken. We got about another 3-5 after that. Needless to say, our three were excited! A few of these pictures made it on a local TV website. Thanks, Tori for the help in posting these. Your last suggestions worked! Sisi in her snow fort! Mika on top of the fort. Nanuk, looking for a treat from Sadie She reminds me of a cat in this picture!

Thanks everybody! They had a great time. Linus, not so much....too cold for him, even with a coat. I heard on the radio this morning that the Michiana could see another foot of snow from Tuesday to Wednesday. The snow removal was awesome around here. I picked my favorite three individual pics out of a lot taken. When I opened the door Saturday morning, Nanuk just stood there like "For me? Really? All this snow for ME???"

Aww!! And omg- I know what you mean! Koda LOVES the snow. He is literally refusing to come inside lately. And for no reason other than he's so content to just lay in the snow. It's SO annoying!!! _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

THAT is our Mika. We have to take the leash out sometimes just to get her in. Sometimes, all it takes is a belly rub!

How fun with all that snow! I took the sled out and put the harness on Ginger and took the neighborhood kids for a sledride around the neighborhood. Good training for Ginger and the kids had fun! _________________

She was pulling some and I was helping her. With more weight behind her, other than a big water bottle and a backpack (which she was pulling the first time out), I had to walk/jog next to or infront of her. _________________

I love the fence-gazing pic! And the fort is awesomeness. I just adore how everyone looks so happy but... come to think of it.... I'm not sure I've ever seen an unhappy husky...they have such happy dispositions!
