| so, I'm trying to be good and rest my broken arm, but I just can't seem to do this fully. I never realized what a struggle this would be. As I try to keep myself occupied without overdoing it, I can't help but notice the differences in my two sibes. Dakota follows me around everywhere I go. He could be out cold and the minute I shift to get up, he is on all fours waiting to follow me. Sometimes I just want to say "chill dude, I'm just going to the bathroom" Funny thing is, that"s the only place he doesn't follow me into. Dakota is quite the gentleman and let's me atleast have that privacy. Willow, on the other hand, could care less where I go. she's very independent and wants to do her own thing EXCEPT when I go to the bathroom. Appaently she doesn't want to break the girl code and allow me to go alone. Silly girl... |

Girl, I have 2 tails!!! Whether it be when I go pee, or brush my teeth, or cook! Mya is worse though, but Kody follows her. For example, and it might sound weird, but Mya loves to lick the toothpaste off of the sides of my mouth when I'm brushing my teeth. Kody has learned this lil habit so I now have 2 furballs sitting next to me just waiting to get a lick! Mya will attack Kody if I let him lick it so I have to put some on my finger for Kody and let Mya lick away. Crazy, huh? Oh, Mya even stalks me when I'm showering! If i close the door on her she'll cry by the door until I come out. Mind you my hubby is in the room with her. She even jumped in the shower with me once! Now that was funny! LOL |

| Yup. I totally know where you're coming from. It's a freakin' parade every time I have to use the loo - the cat and the dog both come in for loves... total goofballs. |

Hilarious! Ginger will follow me around downstairs. When I'm in the kitchen making myself something to eat, she'll sit by her 'boundary' and drool. If I ignore her, she'll lay down and put head on her paws and watch me. If I sit on the couch to watch the news and drink my coffee in the morning, she's at my feet. When I'm working (I work from home at the dining table) she'll lay on the hardwood floor near me. The only time she won't follow me is when I go upstairs and it's not time for bed yet. _________________ |

| I love it! I am glad you all are experiencing the same thing! Dakota doesn't stare at me all the time cause that would be creepy, but he is just super intune to me. He could be nawing away on a bone but will still get up and follow me and lay right back down to keep nawing away on that bone. My son says he sleeps in the breezeway, right by the garage door, when I am gone and waits for me. My mom came and stayed with me for a week when I first broke my arm and she told me she had to coax him to leave my sleeping form to let him out to pee and when I was awake I had to walk to the door so that he would allow my mom to let him out. You would think he would have seperation anxiety but he is super good home alone. How did I get so blessed to have him in my life??? |

| Nanuk has always been my tail, which is funny, considering he was "Tommy's dog" when we got him. He doesn't follow me into the bathroom, but lays in the hallway while I "do my bizness". He is a Mama's boy, for sure!
The girls could care less what I do, other than when I am in the kitchen. Then all 4 are there, all seeming to need a drink at that moment, when before that, no one could have cared less about water! |
