Ever since I was about 12 years old I wanted a Siberian Husky. My parents did not believe in animals in the house so my love for huskies was only from a distance. I married my husband and Saint Bernard, Tank, in 2013 and that was enough in one house for me...until this past summer when we met with a lady who had Siberian Husky puppies about 20 miles from our house. My husband took me to see them and I met with the breeder and was sooo in love! Unfortunately we were unable to take one home since we would be leaving for vacation on a cruise in a couple months and didn't want to board him being so young and in a new home. Then for Christmas my husband found a breeder with puppies ready to go home (at six weeks...) we went to bring home Oakley and then that is when I found out he was so young and needed to stay with him littermates and mom; however, after seeing their living conditions I knew that he had to come home with us because I knew it would be a way better environment for him and that we would just have to put in the extra effort. So after all these years I finally got my husky and now our home is full of loud, shedding, hyper active dogs!

Congratulations! I was the same way, always wanted a Husky since I was a kid and finally got Luna this year.
