| I feed the Wilderness version. It's grain free and high protein. _________________ |

| I won't go into further detail except to say that Blue has had on average a recall a year for the past several for their products. I was looking at it since it's often referenced and recommended but just couldn't get comfortable with all the recalls. A Simple Google for Blue Wilderness recall list way too many for my comfort level.
There's an interesting thread at DogFoodAdvisor.
I've switched my crew over to the adult version of Fromm which they love. It's a bit more expensive than I'd prefer but it's a good food for the price.
Of course, not every food is the right food for every dog, we try to make good choices and they sometimes bite us in the butt. |

| Also, Huskies really don't need Large breed foods. My preference is All Life stages so that there's no need to switch a year or so down the line, especially if they're doing good on it. |

| Blue Buffalo wilderness if I had to choose one of the two. But like other have said use dogfoodadvisor.com to get recall info on the Blue Buffalo brand. Try looking into Fromm, Orijen, or even Merrick if you are looking for a good quality food. Between those three brands, one of them should fall into the price range you're looking for and are generally higher quality with less or no recall history. Also, check out dogfoodadvisor's info on raw feeding as well if your just looking for the highest quality possible. Hope you can find the right fit for your dog! |

| My two are eating Taste of the wild Salmon and love it. They let me know every morning and evening, when it is time for them to eat.
I keep an eye on foodadivor.com and have not seen any thing wrong in the past two years with this food.
You have to do meet what your dog enjoys and what you can afford. Just FYI

| I did want to throw in an update on Blue, I never have used that brand, but many do, so I will give the info, apparently Blue is currently being sued by Purina, over false labeling of meat on Blue's packaging and that the meat they have been using is sourced products of unknown quality and using by products vs meat, so I presume deceptive packing, etc. I'm sure you can look up the info, but did want to share with the group. |

| One of Blue Buffalo's meat suppliers was found to have had chicken by-product mixed in with there chicken meat. Blue buffalo recently issued a recall on the effected product that was labeled by-product free but contained some of that suppliers by-product. |
