Hey guys Its uh, been a while. More than a year since I was active on here so I figured I should make a new welcome thread since I doubt anyone remembers us lol This year has been super super busy for us. This time last year, I was finishing up finals and getting ready to move, then moving again in January for an internship, then moving back in April after the internship was finished for graduation. And then pretty much everything after that has been downhill. So yeah, long year and I dunno, I just kind of poofed away. Ava is five now And Snickers is 13 this month - double shock. I'm still holding out hope of adding a little bundle of fluffy joy into the mix now that school is over with, but that might just be me being incredibly stubborn. Ava needs someone with better hips to wrestle with constantly!

Welcome back! They're both really beautiful dogs and happy early birthday to Snickers! And, random question, is Ava a sable colored Siberian Husky? She sure does look like it.

Thanks guys! Ava is indeed a sable - she's my little unicorn husky Her harness is by Alpine Outfitters. Very nice and sturdy, but my only complaint is that it rubs the fur on her back oddly. Not in an uncomfortable way, but the fur just looks odd after she's worn it for a while. Its very well made though!

| You're the first person I've seen on here other than myself that owns a Sable Siberian Husky! Coco, my pup, her fur is just a little darker though.

Coco is gorgeous too! I love sables, but they do seem pretty rare. When Ava was a pup, I was sure that she'd turn out to be a red, but I couldn't be happier with her either way. And I love her little snow nose that goes with her sable markings.

Thank you! From what I've read, Sable is a rare color. Sadly, I didn't get to see Coco grow up. She was 7 months old when I got her. My other husky, Rosetta, had the snow nose, and I loved it lol.
