| I have never had or known any dog to dislike peanut butter but this one does lol. I gave Miya a kong with tasty peanut butter inside and put it in front of her to she what she did..she sniffed it and turned her nose up then I tried encouraging her to try it, thinking she'll love it maybe she just doesnt like the smell. So I put a little on her mouth and she just hated it, in disgust she licked it off lips lol bizarre??

I'm sorry but that is just a fantastic quote! Haha Canned dog food is another possibility that freezes. Link was having some issues with bile once and our vet recommended a vegetarian dog food (it exists, I know) in a can for late night snacks specifically to avoid him getting any more protein than his normal diet provides for him. We found some really good stuff here in Seattle that was very natural and mostly organic. As an experiment once, I froze some in his Kong and it worked. Other than that I have no experience with canned dog food but I know form hearsay that it pretty much all freezes. Food for thought....no pun intended. |

| Lol ill try both cheese and wet food, though I have to go get some since I pretty much feed kible and raw once a week. Yogurt wouldn't be a bad idea also.. any else have input on what they use for kong stuffing?? |

| Wolf didn't like peanut butter until about a month ago. Like yours, he would turn his nose to the kong, so I substituted non-fat vanilla yogurt, which he loved. Now though, he can't get enough peanut butter. Go figure. |

| Well to me it is good for your Husky that he does not like because peanutbutter ainĀ“t a thing a dog should eat. |

| How old is Miya? Yukon used to hate peanutbutter too as a small puppy, but now he can't get enough of the stuff. So maybe it's just a phase that she'll grow out of with time? |

| Dennis, you had to send me looking because I've never seen anything bad being written about dogs and peanut butter.
Of the sites I visited, Pawnation probably had the most interesting. (Note that it's a slide show, use the "arrow" on the right of the picture to move through them.)
Their one comment about babies, dogs and peanut butter really made me chuckle! |

| I did not say there is anything bad about it, I just said to me a dog should not eat it because its not natural dog food. It is like humans drinking milk, in the end it is not bad for us, but we are not really supposed to drink it. |
