I had an old dog that used to do the platypus lay. Always looked terribly uncomfortable. He is so pretty. I love his markings. It is getting hot here too. I recently picked up the Ruffwear Swamp cooler and it has helped me immensely with being able to prolong our normal exercise activities despite the heat.

Looked after Wolf's girlfriend Sky for a day.  They play and wrestle all day, then konk out.  Lots of panting!

They are adorable together! I just love Wolf's facial markings. And those beautiful eyes!

Wolf is handsome as ever...and he has a lovely girlfriend, haha...I know how fun it is to watch 2 play, enjoy. It is awesome that Wolf is such a great dog, and accepting of adding her to his routine!! You should be proud.

Wolf turned 2 on Thursday the 9th! Time sure flies, and he's such a good boy (most of the time ).

Do you think the Swamp cooler is worth it? It seems like a good idea. I had a vest for on the motorcycle when I was down south, and it sure worked for me!

Happy birthday, Wolf!

So far I think the vest is worth it. It made a huge difference for my GSD mix. He's black and just soaks up heat and first time out I noticed he wasn't breathing as hard and he wasn't nearly as dehydrated. Sometimes when we get back from walks his tongue would be really dry from all the panting and since I got them the vest on the same walks there's still a lot of pink in their tongues when we get back. That was when it was in the high 80s. I haven't taken them out since it hit the 90s, but next week will be the real tell on how they do. Going on vacation and the forecast is saying low 90s all week. We will still be avoiding walking in the middle heat of the day but we are camping so they are going to have to deal to an extent.

Well I haven't posted any pictures of my Wolfy in awhile, so here are a couple!

I love his eyes, I think they're the same color as Kohdi's non-parti eye. It's such a cool color. He has the head tilt down good! Pic on the stairs is awesome.
