| This started on Saturday I think but Jack will not eat his food when we feed them, normally he will watch Sierra until she is done and then go eat. we did just get a new batch of food and I'm wondering if something is different with it or maybe he is just tired of it, because on Sunday he did not eat dinner and then hardly touched it on Monday morning. same thing yesterday and this morning with not eating it. I left the house and he still had not eaten it. he seems to be acting normally, I am kind of wondering if it is the food as sierra has not been chowing it down like she normally does either. he is eating bones and eggs. I just do not want to start putting special things into his food just to get him to eat cause knowing jack trying to not do that anymore will not happen and I will be back where I am now. his poop looks fine and he is drinking as well so I don't think he is not feeling well. anyone have any ideas? I wondering if I need to order a new flavor food and start mixing it in or see if the guy will bring me a new bag of food and take this one back, with how much we spend on food I want them eating it. have you ever gotten a bad bag of food? _________________ |

| It's heating up. Slowing down on food during the season change is normal. These guys even get to the point that they only eat every other day for a few weeks.
I wouldn't worry too much, and put the food away after ten minutes of sitting out. Then try again later. |

| Oh jesus, Jenn. This happens to us all the time. Just bring the bag back and get a new one It's always something in the batch and one of them doesn't want to eat it. We just got through with one that gave them a bunch more gas than it normally does. Every bag/batch is different. What you're describing to me is a classic "bad bag" combined with a picky husky That's my guess though! I also agree with Eddy. Koda gets lethargic for a couple of days at the season change. That could also be a likely culprit. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| I did not even think about the weather... I noticed on our weekend walk that sierra was slowing down and it was only in the mid 60's I thought she was not feeling well and then we went out at night and she was back to herself so we need to go back to morning/night walks on the weekends. Sierra has also not been finishing all her food and I thought that was odd as well but yeah bight be that it is warming up, our house has been at 71 the last few days when we get home and during the winter we keep it at 61-66 so it is warmer as well.
as far as taking the bag back I wish it was that easy but we have the food delivered and they do not have a store front so I would have to call them to come get it and leave another bag... it was also odd that when we dumped the bag into the containers we normally over flow into another one and with this bag we did not.. now what to do what to do.... _________________ |

| Max is my second husky mix three years old, my first husky lived to 15 years old. I don't know everything, just experience, when its warm or getting warm their appetite changes from winter. In the summertime,Buddy would eat maybe three days a week. We would walk early morning or evening hours when the sun is down, this husky Max, we will do hiking in forests and lots of swimming, good luck. |
