| Its been a month now after we got Kobe neutered and recovered from his kennel cough. Now there's another issue. His stool is light brown and is a bit watery, is having hotspots, and is shedding a lot. WE've been feeding him 2 things: Blue Wilderness High Protein Grain Free Pedigree Ground meet(Beef/Chicken) We stopped giving him the Pedigree to pin point his problem, so right now the Blue Wilderness is still giving him wet stool. Any suggestions is appreciated. |

| Which meat base is the Blue, he could have an intolerance to a specific meat. Whatever you do, please don't go back to the Pedigree, I don't remember where you live but they had a recent recall on their kibble, and regardless of the recall, Pedigree is not a high standard kibble to feed. |

| How much are you feeding him? Try cutting back by a third for a day or 2 and see if stool consistency improves. I always get "pudding poop" when I over feed. With a high protein, high fat food, easy to overfeed. |

That is a good question. maybe 3-4 cups of dry food daily spread out in small increments through out the day. He does have pudding poop. When he poops on grass, it sticks. |

| Amy makes a good point, cut down on his food some and give it a few days, it always takes a few days to see any changes. Chicken tends to be pretty tolerable to most dogs. So try Amy's suggestion first.
I do want to add, could you finish your profile, it's easier to know who we are speaking to, your dogs name, but more importantly we like to know where you are located, if we make a recommendation, we will know if it's suitable for your area.
I have read that some huskies do not do well on blue, because it's too rich, however, following Amy's suggestion first and then see how it goes before switching to yet another food is smart. If he's a low active adult I would not feed more than 3 cups a day, possibly less, all depends on activity level, age, what type of food and current weight. |

| If Kobe is 60 pounds or less and you are in warmish temps (60 plus F), I would start with 2 cups per day. Monitor his body condition (ie how much rib, tuck-up and waist). |

| I agree, cut his food to 1 cup morning, 1 cup at night, if not a puppy/ under a yr.
Yes dogs have issues with blue.
Or try a limited ingredient diet, look at natural balance LID _________________ |
