2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

So my 6 month husky everyday at one point gets INSANELY hyper! Its so hard to put it in words. Its like as if a little kid who ate a bag of sugar started yelling and just running around the house.

Rocky runs around the yard at full speed dodging me and my dad, runs under the chair and does a few laps like this. It lasts about 20 seconds.

Does your husky do this too? And is this a normal husky thing?

Thanks guys.

Pretty much bounce It even has a name - search "zoomies"

The most impressive zoomies my boy has exhibited was in a hotel room - a very small hotel room with a huge king bed, a husband who thought he was going to relax and read the newspaper after a long trip and a husky trapped inside a car for a 6 hour ride...the newspaper was history. Laughing

When it cools off my girl will do them around the back yard. Our mutt does them too. More exercise cuts down on the zoomies, but it's a normal things. Enjoy the antics of it.

Here is the video link for you to compare with what your dog is doing.

Loki still does it at almost a year and a half, but only maybe a few times a month now. Biking helps I think to eliminate the zoomies. Usually when it happens it is because we tell him No or something.

HA! My pup doesn't get the zoomies unless I scratch his sides and chatter in an excited tone. I call it revving up the Husky, he looses his marbles when I do.
