2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. I told them the mother was a purebred. I'm just hoping they don't come back with:

Mother: 100% Husky
Father: 100% Mixed Breed (too mixed for results)

The whole point of me buying the test was to see what that mix was.

Yeah that would be crazy. "Too mixed for results" sounds an awful lot like "we're too lazy to type all the breeds down for you" to me.

The report only goes back 3 generations. So Loki had 2 grandparents (one on each side a purebred Husky) and 2 grandparents (again on each side) mixed breed. Then it gave me 5 breeds that "All or none may be in Loki's ancestry".

Whippet
German Short Haired Pointer
Tibetan Spaniel
Puli
Sussex Spaniel

Like I said, all of these breeds were below the detection threshold. So He may or may not have the genetic makeup all, some, or none of those breeds.

Just got off the phone with the DNA company. Loki's mom is 100% Siberian husky. His dad was between 25-50% Siberian husky, probably 25% German short haired pointer and the rest mixed. She was suspecting more on the high end for the percentage of Husky. So final analysis:

Loki is roughly 75% Husky, 6.25% German Short Haired Pointer, and the rest mixed.

I'm just glad to get the results in finally!
