| It's most likely a skin condition. Possibly allergies or mange, but I have little knowledge on the medical side.
I don't know where you are, but it sounds like you need to find a good vet ASAP. I don't know your definition of "Many doctors" but I think you need to look some more. You are not going to get a diagnosis on an internet forum, just people telling you to get your dog to a vet. |

| You need to get off the forum and start looking for a good vet. Whatever it is, it looks advanced and extremely painful. No one here can help-a good vet can. |

| It looks like you're still on line waiting for the magical diagnosis. Do you live near a university? perhaps they have vets there. You must go to a vet, like Sara and AnyaLuv said. A vet needs to do skin scrapings to determine proper treatment. I'm no expert, could be what Sara said could be ring worm or a zinc deficiency which is common in huskies, however only a vet could determine and diagnose. Please get him to a vet and make sure they do skin scrapings. Some thing are easy to fix, some are tricky to fix, but you have to go. |

| In addition to skin scrapings, it may be helpful to ask your vet about zinc responsive dermatosis. It is very common in the breed, resulting from a zinc deficiency, but most vets don't think of it when diagnosing. If it is ZRD, which presents the same symptoms, it is easily remedied with a zinc supplement. Doesn't hurt to ask your vet about it. _________________ |

| Val, I mentioned ZRD as well, from what I understand though, a vet would still have to do scrapings to determine this, yes? I also have read that over treating for ZRD is almost as bad as not treating, hence why a vet needs to diagnose and give proper treatment. Have I read all this right? |

| Looks VERY much like Zinc Deficiency (ZRD). I would present that information to the vet and make sure they can do the blood work and skin scrapings to get an accurate diagnosis. ZRD is treatable if that is what it is by supplementing with zinc supplements, just as Val has said.
Good luck! _________________ |
