My puppy is 13 weeks tomorrow and I've been crate training him ever since I got him (8 weeks). He is able to hold #1 but he constantly goes #2 in his crate now and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Here is my daily schedule:

7:00 AM - Wakeup and I bring him outside. Typically goes pee and poo
7:15 AM - 1 scoop of food with water
8:20 AM - Between the time I feed him until now, I let him lounge where I am. He is typically chewing on his toys.
8:30 AM - I bring him outside. He typically goes pee again and maybe poo. I then put him in his crate and I leave for work
11:45 - Noon - I come home from work and bring him outside right away
Between Noon and 12:45 PM - I am eating and I put his water bowl out. He is lounging outside of his crate playing with his toys
1:00 PM - I bring him outside again and then I leave to go back to work
5:30 - 6:00 PM - I get home and bring him outside. Once inside, I give him 1 scoop of food and water
Between 6:00 - 10:00 PM he is out of his crate with me in the living room playing with his toys and sleeping
At 10:00 PM - It is his bed time and I bring him outside

Once the night starts, I have an alarm set at 4:00 AM to take him outside and then I wake up again at 7:00 AM to repeat the day.

Recently, he's been going #2 in his crate more often even when he still continues to go outside. He has never gone #1 in his crate and seems to be holding it just fine.

Events:
Saturday - Went for dinner (3 hours) and he pooped in his crate. I had let him out before leaving and he hadn't been fed yet
Monday Morning - Pooped in his crate around 1:30 AM after I took him out around 10:00 PM
Monday Afternoon - Pooped in his crate around 4:30 PM. Last time he had eaten was 7:00 AM and I let him out at Noon and 12:45 PM.

Is there something I can better do to help the situation? When he does go in his crate, what should I do?

He just went again today at 5:00 PM.

Any help would be appreciated! Should I not feed him in the mornings anymore and just feed him when I get home from work? I feel as though I give him plenty of times to go to the restroom since the 7:00 AM feeding.

Does he have a lot of room to move around in his crate? If he does, I would eliminate that extra space so he can stand up, turn around and that's all.

Do you walk around with him when he goes outside to potty? I would be praising praising praising when he does go poo outside.  It's possible you aren't giving him enough time to poo. Sometimes I would have to stay outside with Mishka for what felt like *forever* until he finally pooped. Also when he goes #2 give it some sort of change in tone. I would say potty for general potty but I would say potty potty for when he had to poo. And always good potty potty when and after he would go.

And also in the evening, maybe bring him out sometime between 6-10pm. Does he give any indication that he needs to go outside at all during this time?

He only has enough room to turn around. I have divider in there right now. I know that they typically don't eliminate where they sleep, but he eliminates on one side, pushes his toys into it to try to cover it and then just sits across from it and cries because he can't lay down.

I have to bring him outside when he needs to go potty because I live in a town home and I have no backyard so I have to bring him to the community park for the town homes. How do you do your praising after they've done the deed? Vocal and petting or do you bring toys? I've recently started bringing treats and I'll give him one each time he goes.

During his time out around from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, he doesn't make any noises as if he needs to go to the bathroom. He doesn't make any noise to notify me that he needs to go. The only way I know he needs to go is when he is in his crate for the night/day and he isn't sleeping and he's just sitting in his crate and then starts turning around/laying down/getting up/turning around/laying down etc.

I don't get it guys. I took him out at 2:00 AM last night. He pooped and then I hear him crying at 6:00 AM and he went in his cage.
