| I would like to apologize for not being active like I was, but just recently I came across this medical problem I have with Luna, that our vet can't solve themselves. She should just say that I go to a skin doctor for dog. I found the only skin doctor for dogs and in Rhode Island. The problem that is not cheap, just the visit without any exam or med is 150. Before I take that leap I would like to know have anybody have ever face with this before About a year ago Luna for some weird reason she started having patch in her face. We took her to the vet the next day. Didn't know I was supposed to put her on antibiotics and steroids. It works then he came back again.Again, we did the same thing. We must've gone back to the vet at least four or five time. Right now I'm running out of option I'm just hoping that somebody could please help me. |

| I have read that huskies in particular have an issue with absorption of zinc, zinc responsive dermatitis, which produces a scaly, scabbing, redness especially around the mouth area. Google it there are many pics that are similar to your dog. This was a concern of mine prior to getting Miya, had read up on different medical issues pertaining to huskies. Your vet has to scrape the area and do tests, apparently too little does that, but too much is bad as well. Good Luck with you pretty girl. |
