Mishka is completely white what can I use to brighten up her coat also what can I do to give her a " show quality" and what are some good tips on getting her used to her paws being messed with and nail trimming

Many good show shampoo's out there, try a search in the showing part of the forum and I think many are listed. As for the paws, handle them as often as you can, reward calm behavior with treats and/or praise.

We use Rosie B. Good Brighter Than White Cloud shampoo, then follow up with the Rosie B. Good Smoother Than Velvet Vanilla conditioner.

My dog is a therapy dog, so gets bathed about once a week. Rosie B. Good has been wonderful because it's very gentle on her skin-a lot of shampoos, especially whitening ones, are too harsh. Rosie B. good is paraben and sulfate free, and make her white and bright and soft.

As for paws, take it slow. Give your dog a good none or Kong, and while she's chewing, rub one foot. Keep touching her feet a little more each day. Then pick up the foot, and just touch the nails. After a few days of that, give her a bone and try quietly cutting just one nail. And so on.

My dog used to be terrified, but now we give her a bone and can trim all of her nails in less than 5 minutes without her budging a muscle. Just work slowly and get her used to her feet being touched.

Have no clue on the shampoo, but I agree with Hughie and anyaluv, Miya keeps her nails short on her own. as a puppy, from the moment we got her, I would rub her paws, tail, arms, etc. I knew huskies could be a challenge, so I wanted her to be used to me touching her, puppy massages if you will. She still loves the massages, but my husband and me are the only ones who can actually touch her paws, people have to HI Five when they ask her to shake, if they don't she screams bloody murder, haha

But I've read that owners of show dogs that are all white use chalk to brighten up the coat.

Real beauty on a husky coat shows from the inside out though. So a good quality kibble or raw and the occasional use of coconut oil during bath time will help a lot.
