| Hello, guys. So, I've been lurking the forum for some time, reading as much as I could. While she's not going to be my first Husky, she is going to be my first dog after 10 years of no dogs, and I'm going to have to re-learn everything. This monday, aug. 4th, Kiara became 3 weeks and has opened her eyes recently. It seems like it's going to be bicolor. One blue and one brown just like her mother. She comes from a litter of 4, 2 brown and 2 white, all females. But to my eyes she is getting a little darker. Kinda creamy, or light brownish. But I would like to know from you what do you think. Is she going to get darker? Have anyone of you had the experience with white huskies getting darker before? Ps: She's the one in the middle of the brown ones. Napping after playing with the litter mates in the grass I can't wait to bring her home. Still some weeks to go! |

| Oh my gosh this is killing me she's so precious. It's really unknown what she'll look like when she's bigger. What does her daddy look like? |

| Hi and welcome to the forum, what a cute little puppy! I think there is a chance she might get darker. |

| Thanks, Renee and Orion. Renee, the father is brown too, and even darker than her mother. Both mother and father come from a very respectable breeder in my country. So, hips and eyes checked. The first husky I had more than 15 years ago had a hip problem. Back then, with no internet to warn us, we were clueless. Even if it wasn't our fault, now I want to make sure this puppy is going to be the healthiest possible. The owner of the parents is a very good friend of mine and he is a Vet who is very passionate about his animals, so things are going to be fine. |

| Hi there and welcome!
I think she might be a light red. She will probably get darker as she gets older, but not too much. |
