Haha, no Kohdi doesn't bother with them, except if they're in his way he just steps on 'em, haha. He's been getting up there a lot lately though, I think it's cuz of the dog next door, he's trying to find an access route . That's all I need. Yup, they've been used by birds, a couple have old nests in them still...I was surprised when I saw birds going into them once. The one I found Mishka taking apart had a nest but no eggs/birds...luckily. She dragged the ceramic one down too and chipped its roof. She's a worker!!! LOLOL, I wish she'd take a rest once in awhile

It kinda is Casey, haha, the house next door is a rental, it's backyard is mostly all gravel to accommodate low maintenance I guess, when the dog next door is walking or running around, the gravel makes noise so Kohdi is guestimating by sound and looking thru the spaces in between the boards for a visual of just where the dog is I hope they both overcome this fascination with the new dog.

Thank you Amy! she is a lil imp isn't she . "Ice" was really a name in the running before I named her Mishka. Anuschka, I had named on her AKC papers, "Ice Princess-Anuschka" (she could be really cold to her littermate brother, Blitz, LOL) so I wanted to keep the Ice thing going. But I let people talk me out of it Yes! The holes! I figure wth, I can't water the lawn (obviously, LOLOL) so I might as well let them find some entertainment value in that area. I can't wait til I can have grass again!!!

Goodness, Jimmy, that is a lot of dirt. I am sure you are out of your mind without grass. Although Mishka and Kohdi seem quite content at the prospect of digging with out Papa Jimmy scolding, lol.....cute pics.

The water it was taking to keep alive though Renee, would leave me in the poor house. I don't know if it's because that area bumps up to the edge of the canyon (which we are not allowed to irrigate) and it was sucking the water away from the grass or just poor soil but I had to water it pretty much every day and with our drought I couldn't do it anymore. This Fall I'm gonna remove like a foot or two of soil and bring in top soil before I redo the lawn, hopefully it helps, I think the top soil I brought in the last time was only 5 or 6 inches deep once it was spread. Area used to be concrete so I imagine the soil underneath wasn't the greatest. Thank you Renee!!!

Poor grass get the new dirt brought in now and they can help you till it in! might be good for the grass to so the dirt can get settled in and soften the soil you have now. _________________

I dunno about bringing in dirt now though...soft dirt would just encourage them and the pool is just.right.there. LOL, its not fun getting the dirt up from the bottom of the pool, I like your idea in theory though! Ok, im here, so here are a few more pics See, only 3 pics, that wasnt so bad now was it |

@Amy...surprisingly Amy, zero times. In the pic it looks like a flimsy shelf because my pillows somewhat block the front of it, but it's actually a very solid cabinet! Attached to the wall and it does not move, trust me, I've hit my head on it a few times (keep that in mind when I post something in here you don't quite understand, lol) the two little wolf pups laying under the tree stump weighs quite a bit, it's not moving anywhere, haha, the pictures of Malukhai and Anuschka are never disturbed. The two crystal wolves are another story though, haha, I will find one or the other down sometimes but it's not from him bumping the shelf, he pushes it over with his nose! And yeah, he's pretty comfortable I guess the mattress isn't soft enough for his fluffy ass @Zoe...thank you so much Zoe! I really like that pic too! They're both lost in their own little world, Haha. Story behind it is they are both torturing a little bug I don't know what they're called but they are small gray bugs that when you touch them, they roll into a little ball about the size of a pea. I call them potato bugs, anyways, they're both rolling this bug around, waiting for it to u ball itself, and then push it again so it rolls up into a ball...this went on for awhile!!! LOLOL And yeah, like Cora is to you, mine are to me. @rumflower...thank you! They are so soft and cuddly, haha, and yeah, Kohdi is a poser, he'll pretty much smile for the camera if he sees it, haha, Mishka on the other hand, I need an award for capturing her in pics, a good 70% of her pics are blurs cuz it's zoom zoom zoom with her
