I really love black and whites, it lets you use your imagination more, you "see" beyond just the color, it's more rich, has more depth, imo.......no problem btw, next pages can get missed. So that's an option with your camera, or how is it done? I see some here use black and white, and well I just love it.

| Thank you so much Casey that is my moms favorite pic!! And yes, to me you made total sense I was watching them play one day and I had noticed the same thing...like if you took all of Mishka's dark markings and placed them on Kohdis white, they would fit, haha...so I'm thinking my third Husky will have a really dark mask/dirty face and my fourth will be all white so it balances out the whole group, lol...then I'd have my own mini-sled team too!! which really wouldnt do me any good cuz we dont get any snow

Wow you phrased that way better than I did. You would have to have them arranged on the team that they could be a mirror image! A friend of mine was joking she was going to get a few and to make a sled team, but name them all after vacuum cleaners. So she would have Hoover, Bissell, Dison, etc.

They have such happy faces, too. |

Aww...I hope the ear infection clears up soon. My girl gets them all the time. I don't think I've ever seen a pair that still looked happy even at the vet. They are so beautiful. _________________

Thank you so much Casey!!! @Jenn, thank you also so much!!! do you remember when I made the post in the medical forum about Kohdi and how the bottom part of his mouth was losing its color? It came back btw but anyways, you had said the same thing happened to Kenzi every so often and it would clear up when you put Neosporin on it. Well, yesterday at the vet, the vet said Kohdi has a yeast infection in his ear...so I pointed out Kohdi's mouth and asked if it too could be from a yeast infection. Although Kohdis mouth is better, the vet said his Lab (dog, haha) gets the same thing sometimes and he takes the same drops (the meds he gave me for Kohdi's ear) and applies just a smidge to the mouth and it does indeed go away. With his dog he said its a yeast infection. So I just wanted to let you know that its possible since Kenzi gets ear infections as well, maybe its connected? Kenzi and Kohdi have, to me, very similar coats (very very thick) so maybe these "lines" get these yeast things more often or something.

Thanks for letting me know! I have drops I just keep on hand for her ears. I will give it a try the next time her lip freaks out. The Neosporin is so hard to keep on. I am also going to do some tea tree oil experimentations for ear infections sometime too. Seems the stuff the vet puts her on is the most expensive stuff he could. _________________

I asked the vet if Kohdi would just lick it off (probly what Kenzi does with the Neosporin?) and he said "no"...but, I'm thinkin "yeah". If you remember, can you let me know how the tea tree oil works out for you? cuz you are right, this teeeeeeeeeeenie lil bottle of drops was $35!!! Vet said the infection probly came from getting wet inside the ear or something and just a week or 2 ago it was raining here and I went running w/Kohdi (he was having the bestest time of his life too) so Im thinkin he got too wet and I didnt dry off his head/ears enough. I gotta be better.

I will certainly let you know. I think Kenzi's ear issues stem from Keno. He likes to bite and lick at her ears. I'm always having to get onto him. She had only had one prior to us getting him and that was irritation from a flea infestation she picked up at the park. We fought that valiantly for 3 months and all her digging at her head got her ears irritated. _________________

Thank you Jenn I wondered that about Kohdi...when he and Mishka play, she goes for his neck and his ears, both are "wet" to the touch after they play and I thought (still do) that could be how it got started. I dont know about Kenzi but Kohdi is not having these drops put in his ear AT ALL, he fights me like you wouldnt believe...so these expensive drops end up mostly on his forehead...atleast I know his forehead is protected, haha

I doubt it Casey...he REALLY fights these ear drops. Theyre supposed to go in twice a day and most of it doesnt end up in his ear. I'm gonna take him back in soon and ask the vet how hes doing cuz I really can't tell. Thank you for asking!!! I love Loki's pics!!!

He's probly gonna say "train your dog so that you can put simple ear drops in his ear"...but yeah Casey, I'll update When the vet did the cleaning of the ear and put drops in, they took him to a seperate room for that, without me being with him. Vets take every precaution so I'm pretty sure they had him held down pretty good so that might be part of the issue...he's also been very "shy" (not the right word but my brain has been farting all day so thats the best I can come up with) about anyone getting anywhere near his ear so thats another part of it...the third part is that he is probly the most stubborn Husky I've ever had. He has pretty much stopped shaking his head so much, so I think thats a good sign.
