| I actually bought a cake mix off Amazon that had yogurt frosting lol. My girls LOOOVED it and it was a huge success. I'm not a baker in any way, shape, or form, so that's what I went with. |

| I've used the Gone to the Snow Dogs pupcakes recipe. You can surely put this in a small (6-8") pan to make an actual cake.
Prep Time: 10 mins Cooking time: 25-30 mins
Ingredients 1 cup whole wheat flour 3/4 rolled oats 3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce 1/2 cup canned pumpkin (NO pie pumpkin) 1 medium apple - peeled and small diced 1 teaspoon cinnamon 3 eggs
Frosting ingredients 1 package of cream cheese 2 - 3 tablespoons apple sauce small treats for toppers
Directions: First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Next you want to mix all of your dry ingredients together in one bowl. Mix oats (you can plus them in a food processor to make them smaller if you like, that is what I did), cinnamon, and flour together. In another bowl, mix your wet ingredients. Mix the pumpkin, apple sauce, eggs (slightly beaten), and apple. Slowly combine and mix together the wet and dry ingredients. Scoop mixture into a greased muffin tin. Pile the cupcakes up high as they will not rise, and they are dense! Bake for 25 - 30 mins until you see the tops just barely starting to brown. Remove from the over, transfer to a cooling rack, and the cool completely (you can leave them overnight if you wish).
To make the frosting, beat together the cream cheese with 2 tablespoons of apple sauce. If the frosting is not smooth enough, add another tablespoon of apple sauce. If you like, add food coloring to your liking. Spread the frosting on each pup cake and garnish with a treat! This recipe makes about 6 Pup cakes. _________________ |

| http://allrecipes.com/recipe/doggie-birthday-cake/ I've made this recipe for pupcakes twice and my dogs go craaaazy over them! If you decide to use this recipe, I suggest not baking for the 40 minutes as directed. Mine would have burned, but my oven is pretty hot, so time may very depending on you're oven. Beware, these things smell great while baking but taste horrible for people lol |

| This is the cake I made for Sadie's Birthday. It is a peanut butter and carrot cake, with pumpkin and apple sauce cream cheese frosting and I used the leftover ice cream bones as decoration. It's decently healthy we very little sugar and smells fantastic. Well if you like peanut butter that is. I will find the recipe. But this cake as so good I ate some of it. |
